Welcome to Dr. Sex Fairy, America’s top-rated sexuality podcast. I am Dr. Kanwal Bawa, America’s favorite sex doctor, and I am here to transform your life. Today’s episode is part of our series called Six Minutes On Sex, our quickie episodes where I discuss some great topics in a short amount of time. Today we are delving into my recently published quiz about calculating your Sex Score. We will be exploring how men and women may measure their sexual wellness differently and why.

This comprehensive assessment tool formulated by me takes into account various factors that influence our sexual health and well-being. It can be found on mysexscore.com and was recently published by the Daily Mail and then picked up by news outlets around the world. Just a few days in, thousands have taken the My Sex Score quiz to better understand where they stand, and what they need to do to improve their health and happiness.

The Sex Score comprises questions that are common to both men and women, as well as general questions that affect both. These general questions highlight a range of lifestyle and health factors that can impact our sexual health and satisfaction. Let's dive into these questions and see how they can affect us.

1. How often do you drink alcohol? Alcohol can have both positive and negative effects on sexual health. While small consumption can help with relaxation and fun, excessive drinking can lead to sexual dysfunction.

2. Do you smoke? There is a ton of research showing the negative effects of smoking on sexual health as a whole period it affects blood vessels it affects libido it affects your ability to perform. It also increases your risk of several types of cancer. There is nothing good that comes out of smoking.

3. Do you use recreational drugs? Drug use can have serious implications on sexual health, affecting libido, performance, and overall well-being.

4. What are your eating habits? A balanced diet that includes essential nutrients can positively impact sexual health. Good nutrition supports energy levels and overall well-being.

5. How is your self-esteem? How we feel about ourself plays a significant role in our ability to enjoy and engage in satisfying sexual relationships. A healthy sense of self-worth can certainly boost confidence and intimacy.

6. Are you in a loving relationship? Being in a loving and supportive relationship will always enhance sexual satisfaction. Communication, trust, and emotional connection are vital components of a fun and pleasurable sexual experience. Yes, I said fun. Sex should always be fun.

7. How well do you sleep? Quality sleep is essential for overall health, including sexual health. Poor sleep can lead to fatigue, low libido, low testosterone levels, difficulty getting pregnant, and more.

8. How high is your stress level? Stress can negatively impact sexual desire and performance. Moreover, if you are very stressed, you are going to be more irritable. No relationship is going to do well if you constantly live with high stress levels.

9. Do you suffer from chronic conditions? Chronic health conditions like high blood pressure, hormone imbalance, diabetes, etc can affect multiple aspects of sexual function and overall well-being.

10. What is your physical activity level? Regular exercise promotes overall health and can improve sexual function by increasing blood flow and endurance. If you are physically active, chances are that you look good and that makes you more confident in other aspects of your life.

11. How is your sex drive? Libido varies among individuals and can be influenced by physical and psychological factors. Open communication with your partner about desires and preferences is very important.

12. Next up is the frequency of sexual activity. Understanding how often you engage in sexual activity can provide insights into your sexual health and satisfaction. If you aren't having sex often, is it because you are unable to perform or because you are in an unhappy relationship?

13. How confident are you about your sexual performance? The more confident you are of performing well, the more often you will initiate sex. Confidence will also help you perform better once you are in bed. So much of sexuality comes from how good we think we are at sex.

14. How is your sexual communication with your partner? Effective communication with your partner about desires, boundaries, and expectations is essential for a great sex life.

15. Are you satisfied with your sex life? Ultimately, your level of sexual satisfaction is a significant aspect of your overall well-being. Again, honest self-assessment and open dialogue with your partner can lead to considerable change.

While these questions are relevant to both men and women, it is important to recognize that individuals have certain issues and priorities based on whether they have a penis or a vagina.

For women the Sex Score includes questions that focus on aspects such as pain during sex, achieving orgasm, vaginal dryness, and urinary incontinence. These questions reflect some of the unique challenges and concerns that women may encounter during their sexual experiences.

For men, the Sex Score delves into specific aspects of male sexual health, including questions about erectile function, ejaculation, and penis size. It even addresses the topic of morning erections. These questions acknowledge some of the specific concerns and anxieties that men may have regarding their sexual performance and appearance.

I formulated this quiz because the world needs to rethink what constitutes sexual wellness and satisfaction, and the factors that either help you achieve it or prevent you from getting there.
