Welcome to America’s top sexuality podcast, Dr. Sex Fairy! I am Dr. Kanwal Bawa, America’s favorite sex doctor, and I am here to transform your life.

Today, we are diving into the fascinating and often misunderstood topic of female ejaculation—or squirting. Can a woman really ejaculate? Should a woman ejaculate? Should a woman try to avoid ejaculating? Should her lover try to make her ejaculate? Is not making her squirt a sign that you didn't do a great job? I am going to answer all your questions in record time today so make sure you listen till the very end.

Let's get one important fact out of the way. If a woman doesn't squirt, it doesn't necessarily mean that she didn't enjoy the sex. Some women tend to squirt, and some don't. There is nothing wrong with either scenario. That said, you can certainly increase the likelihood that a woman's squirts if you follow my tips. So if you are a woman who wants to squirt, if you want to make your partner squirt, or if you are curious about the topic, this is the episode for you.

Squirting is an intimate experience, and a source of immense pleasure for many women. Let’s uncover the truth behind it, and more importantly, how to create an environment where it can actually happen. Creating the right conditions for squirting starts with emotional and physical comfort. A woman must feel completely safe, relaxed, and open to exploring her body without fear of judgment. Emotional trust and clear communication are essential. Talk openly with your partner about desires, boundaries, and preferences.

Now, let us focus on technique. Squirting often occurs through the stimulation of the anterior vaginal wall, the area where the inner part of the clitoris lives. Begin by ensuring proper lubrication. Work on her slowly to make sure that she gets wet enough, and if she doesn't, make sure you use water based or silicone lubricant. Avoid using coconut oil because it can increase the risk of yeast infection and that's no fun. Daily Mail interviewed me about baby oil as a lubricant when the Diddy fiasco blew up and I told them what a terrible idea that is as well.

Use clean hands or toys specifically designed for clitoral stimulation, both internally and externally. Keep in mind that toys marketed as "G-spot stimulators" are actually designed to stimulate the inner part of the clitoral network. I always try to educate people that the G spot really isn't a thing. This area is still the inner part of the clitoris, not some magical unicorn. The more you stimulate the clitoris, and its extension deep into the vagina, the higher the chance of making your partner squirt.

Insert one or two fingers into the vagina, curling them towards the belly button in a gentle “come hither” motion. Apply steady, rhythmic pressure to the area about two inches inside the vaginal opening. Keep in mind that this is not about speed or intensity; consistency and attentiveness are key. You may or may not notice a spongy texture as you stimulate the clitoris from inside the vaginal canal but aim for this general area.

Pair this stimulation with external clitoral touch to amplify her pleasure. Use your fingers, tongue, or a toy to stimulate the external clitoris while maintaining consistent internal pressure. This dual stimulation can enhance arousal and increase the likelihood of squirting.

Pay close attention to your partner’s responses. Every woman’s body is unique, and her reactions will guide you. She may feel an intense buildup of pressure that resembles the need to urinate. Encourage her to relax and let go, because this sensation often precedes squirting. Reassure her that this is a natural response, and that there is no need to hold back. I suppose you do risk getting peed on but that is the chance you take.

Timing is also important. Squirting is more likely to occur during heightened states of arousal or orgasm. Build up the moment with foreplay, light and deep kissing, and sensual touch. The biggest mistake most people make during sex is not that they don't try to pleasure a woman, it's that they don't try to pleasure enough areas. You can't just focus on the clitoris if the goal is giving her great pleasure, and making her squirt. Try stimulating her nipples. Some women want you to lick, some may also enjoy you blowing on them, and some may like things a little rougher.

However, don't try anything rough without communication prior. You might be surprised to know that some women have such sensitive nipples that stimulating the nipple can actually give them an intense full body orgasm. So slow down, explore, and let her body guide the direction and pace.

Porn gives people the impression that squirting is more common that it really is. It has become a popular niche in the adult industry and is sometimes staged or enhanced for visual effect. They use tricks such as adding water and other liquids to create that effect.

The popularity of squirting has increased over the years. but while pornography might bring visibility to squirting, it lacks the nuance to explain what is really happening. Many viewers don't realize that squirting is related to female sexual anatomy and is not always a sign of intense orgasm. The frequent, erotic and dramatic portrayal of squirting in porn can create unrealistic expectations in personal sexual relationships, with some people feeling pressure to "perform" in similar ways.

At the end of the day, whether or not she squirts, the journey will be deeply pleasurable and an opportunity to connect on a deeper level sexually. As I said earlier, squirting is not a universal experience, and it is perfectly normal if it does not happen. The goal is not necessarily to achieve squirting but to explore new dimensions of pleasure and intimacy. By focusing on an interplay of intense and light touch, vibration or simple touch, blowing warm air on the clitoris and other body parts, and creating connection and communication, you create a space where both partners can feel fulfilled and empowered.

One of my upcoming episodes will dive into the controversial question: Is squirting really just pee? Are women squirting or just peeing? So stay tuned for an eye-opening discussion.
