Berly:Last episode was clap your hands if you believe just a cute little nod to Tinkerbell which is appropriate because although Sam and Dean went to a down thinking book went to a town, thinking they were investigating a UFO sighting abduction. Turns out, it wasn't aliens. It was fairies, and one of them abducted Dean from the middle of a cornfield. They fought the fairies and they won. It was cute. It was really cute. What is today's episode LA?
LA:Well, it is called caged. No, I was gonna do it.
Berly:You're gonna do it again.
LA:Caged Heat, not hard. Why I keep saying this. It is the 10th episode of season six, and it aired on December 3 2010. And it starts out with Crowley strapped to a chair bloody. And then another Crowley Yeah, depths around them. We got a Crowley on Crowley. he
Berly:smacked him with a pipe and I can't remember why I paused it. I think that you were writing something and you were like, oh, pause it real quick. And I did. And it was like Mark Shepards face to the side and his mouth open and an O face and LA and both just like kind of sat there and stared at it for a little bit.
LA:I didn't see it at first, but then he said something. I was like,
Berly:Oh, yes. Oh, you're the one who went that's and okay. I did. You did. And then I hit play just in time for him to go. And we were like, Wait, what happened? We got to rewind it now.
LA:Knocked Up the side. Yeah, it wasn't as
Berly:sexy as we thought. It'd be. No, it's like, Oh, shit.
LA:Well, the Crowley that's beating the other Crowley, we find out wants to know how to get to purgatory, which we knew that from the what was the last episode that clearly mentioned that it was the one before? No, it was the one before. That's what I thought, Okay. At one point, he pulls out a baby monitor. He threatens him with the babies and the monitor that he you know, he'd like to take care of them so much and blah, blah, blah.
Berly:So we're assuming this is the alpha Shapeshifter that got away in the second episode of this season. We're assuming it will Samuel must have caught him after all. I mean, he did say he was going to at
LA:first I was like, Oh, he's gonna break. Break. He looks upset. But nope. The strapped up Crowley says Kilimo will make more. Yeah. Other Crowley just as like the heads up, takes off that that whole head. I
Berly:did think it was going to the iridium. He was like I did it. I ended up not being that important. Like he made such a big deal about the iridium and that he can hurt him with it. He only stabbed him with it once. That's true.
LA:I forgot about that. Yeah, he stabbed him in the shoulder. Yeah. And I mean, I guess that wounded him where he can't heal. Yeah. And he didn't like it. He was like, right. That was it. And then you just chopped his head off. So there was that stab necessary.
Berly:Crowley's just he's not very patient. Yeah, apparently, I guess. He wasn't willing to try to torture him more with this Iridium stuff. Yeah. And then even though probably is completely by himself, there's nobody else in the room and he's just chopped off the guy's head. He goes, oops, I've lost my head or something like that. Yeah. And I was just like, that was such a corny line. And who are you delivering that to? Crowley, there's no one else in that room. You literally said that just for yourself. I mean, that's when you can be corny when you're yourself. I guess this is true. I guess this is true.
LA:Well, after that the heading, we see the boys driving up to meet another vehicle. Dean pulls somebody out with a bag over his head and he shoves him over to these two guys in an Escalade. And we found out it's a Rooby Roo that they're passing on to Crowley's men. I think it's Deena asks where Crowley is they haven't seen him since they took on this job and they're getting antsy they're getting pissy that they can't see the Boss What did the guy say that you liked so much the
Berly:the demon said what is that? I'm sorry, like I can see your lips moving and I know you're trying to talk but I don't speak little bitch. And the way the actor delivered the line was so good. It really was I loved it. I loved it.
LA:I liked him. I would I tomorrow.
Berly:I hope he comes back
LA:after that failed attempt. Trying to find out where Crowl is. The guy's head back to the motel and Dean is decided he is clearly not happy with this deal with Crowley he's not into it. He feels like they're just wasting their time when they could be doing other things. But Sam's like well, we have to do this. We got to do it if you want to help me get my soul back. Yeah,
Berly:What's plan B?
LA:We don't have one dean goes over or to like, pour himself a drink and he's talking to say I'm with his back to him. And he says something and turns around and Sam's gone. He's like, damn, Sam, just leave him while he's talking to you. But he sets the drink down goes around this corner, and Sam is on the ground passed out. Then somebody comes up and knocks him out. And the next thing we see, guess what?
Berly:You're not gonna believe it. Totally unique thing.
LA:This has never happened before. The boys are tied to chairs. Amazing. And then lo and behold, who comes around Dean's back but Meg and she wants Crowley don't they all? Everybody wants Crowley,
Berly:everybody wants to voice those doe eyes wit? Yeah.
LA:She kind of starts to say if you're not going to tell me where he is. And she puts like initiative, straddles Dean puts a knife to his jugular and it's like, I'll get it from you some way.
Berly:Fuck the foreplay. Yeah, I'm
LA:done. Sam's like bullshit. He's like a call your bluff bullshit. He'd like laugh Saturn. Yeah. And he says that he knows that she can't hurt him. Because look at her. She's furious. He said she's running away from him. But I think she wants to get him to release the hold on her so she can actually get away from it.
Berly:Right like Crowley is the King of Hell. Now Crowley is the boss now. Sam was saying, I'm sure he's rounding up all the looser for loyalists and getting rid of them.
LA:Okay, so she doesn't want to get show him to like, take them out. She's fine. Yeah.
Berly:I think that Sam even says it's him or her. Yeah, at this point. Sam decides
LA:like, hey, let's work together. And Dean like the fuck. So they leave mag, they go back to the motel. And Dean's pissed. Of course, Sam's like what do you what do you want me to do? Like we're just we know how she is. We know how she works. We're gonna screw her before she screws us. But they need a little help. So Sam steps outside and starts calling for cast, which we know is never, never could guess doesn't usually come for Sam.
Berly:I was curious because whenever After Sam talked to Castile, I totally thought they were gonna go back inside and Dean was going to be asleep or something and that this was something Sam just decided to do on his own. But whenever he gets cast yell, he goes back inside and Dean's like, oh, well, I'll be damned like I owe you. So I was like, I wonder why Sam called for Castile instead of Dean. And then I figured maybe Dean had tried for cos Castile. Yeah.
LA:Or maybe because he's not down with this plan. He was like you call them? Yeah, I'm
Berly:not calling him maybe. Who knows? Sam. Sam got them by saying that they found another one weapons. And he used the plot from Indiana Jones Raiders of the Lost Ark to get them down there. It was. So
LA:first of all, that's my favorite Indiana Jones movie. But yeah, he's like, we gotta go blocks. I mean, I think the Nazis were after it or something basis melted. Like he was so good. I'm so past shows up and he's like, where is it? Let me see up.
Berly:Let me see this box. Where's the box, Sam?
LA:That sounds like no, that was a plot of the movie. And they have a little I can't remember what all it said. But at the end of it. CASS calls him boy.
Berly:Yeah. Boy, Sam basically tried to tell him that he owed them and he had to help them. And if cast didn't, he would stay up and hunt him down and kill him. And Cass was just like, Oh, will you boy. Yeah. You went over like, Oh, I'm descending back into his dorm.
LA:So yeah, then they go back into the motel. And like you said, Dean's like well,
Berly:it was like an abandoned house. This time. Oh, was it? Oh, yeah. That was a motel that was really I wasn't paying attention. Shit accommodation.
LA:Okay, then. Then
Berly:they went back into this dilapidated whatever it may be. And they tried summoning Crowley and that didn't work. And I was happy they did that. Because I feel like I said at least three times in the first part of this episode. Like why haven't they called Bobby Bobby for help. Bobby can just summon Crowley why haven't they asked Bobby because Bobby, Bobby can get Crowley Bobby Bobby. Bobby currently likes Bobby. Yeah. Where's Bobby? And then the summoning spell didn't work and Castile was like he must be shaded from me or blanketed from me or whatever. Which just tells me that yeah, he went to Bobby because he wanted to. Oh, my God, they're so cute. And so after the summoning spell, they were like there's only one more place we can go for information go to the can
LA:Campbell's just always be like the fucking Campbell's cop out as the three of them are sifting through Samuels office, guess who pops in me was like, hey, guys need some time off? Because we have any hope that after y'all do in here. Dean starts coming at him about like, what are you doing helping Crowley How can you do this? What What's he got over you? What's the holding over you? And Samuel pulls out a picture of Mary. He says that At he's gonna give him married back which was like not your why maybe
Berly:no no your daughter who's hopefully in heaven which maybe she's not because she did make a deal with a with Azazel so maybe maybe that's why maybe he thinks that Mary's in hell maybe that's why it's such a big deal to him to try to get her back
LA:okay but let him like the whole rest of the theme of this show is about like are this episode I'm sorry is Sam soul is in hell which graded he's in a different situation than she is but still it's like they're gonna come back just right right so anyway
Berly:for all you know, she's already been corrupted and as a demon No, yeah, fucking
LA:Samuel Dean's like well, he's like that's ridiculous like and Samsung you you've learned how to live without or I haven't. It's like well, I think he lived with that for a lot longer than
Berly:they didn't because he's been dead.
LA:I keep forgetting he died. Yeah, I keep thinking he was just out there being a fucking Campbell
Berly:Samuel is really digging his heels in that No. And Dean Dean made his whole thing like this is how they get us every time. Like don't do it. I regret it. And it kind of flashed to Sam and I was just like, is Dean saying that he regrets that he made a deal to get Sam back. Y'all are working for Crowley to Dean
LA:maybe that's part of what what he's feeling in the back like He's bitter that they're working for Crowley force because of Sam. You know,
Berly:maybe that's why he's I thought he was I thought it was like a throwback to Season Two. The dean was being like, I regret making that crossroads deal and save and my brother in the first I mean, it
LA:could be it could be both it could be one or the other knows. I feel like at the end of the episode like Dean's the one more pulling for it than Sam is.
Berly:That's kind of been the vibe. Like it hasn't been said explicitly. But that's been the vibe for a little bit now where it seems like that Sam is saying that. Yeah, of course I want my soul back. But it seems like there's some doubt he's just like, indifferent. It
LA:seems like
Berly:yeah, he's saying, you know, okay, yeah, I don't have emotions or whatever. I don't feel pain. I know better hunter now.
LA:double edged sword,
Berly:but you don't get the good either. Right. You know, that's the whole thing is like dull. Yeah. I feel like the past couple of episodes anytime as souls come up. It's kind of been like do it
LA:do? It's a struggle. Yeah. You can see like the internal struggle. Yeah.
Berly:As the episode goes on, we hear from more and more and more and more people where they're like, his soul is like, fucked. So yeah, at the end, you know, Dean selfishly wants his brother back. And his answer to that is we got to get that song. And Sam is like, Oh,
LA:he's like, sorry, Sam. You might have a rough time, but we're gonna
Berly:go do it. Do it. Anyway, we digress. We do. I actually saw a panel video not too long ago, where it was Jensen and Jared. And somebody was asking which storyline they liked least or something. And Jensen actually said that he didn't like the soulless Sam story. Oh, because he was like Jared did really well with it. Don't get me wrong. Like it wasn't his performance or whatever. But I had spent these years learning how to bounce off of Sam, and that I didn't have Sam. And it was like at the end, he was like, I just wanted my brother back. And so it's funny to hear him say that in the panel and analyse like, that's what Dean is doing too.
LA:Right? Well, every now that's, that's testament to Jared and his acting that like that's how he felt, you know? Okay, so, after the little debacle was Samuel, they shut him down. Yeah, he's like, get the fuck out of my compound. They go back to the motel Sam's on the computer researching Dean's sifting through some paperwork. Cass has posted up very intently watching the TV. And we out of nowhere cast just start saying this is very complex. If this pizza guy truly loves this babysitter, why is he slapping her so much?
Berly:Why is he slapping her rear her rear?
LA:That's what it was. Yeah, I put spanking
Berly:smack dab as as as his sentence goes on. You start to hear it in the background get louder and louder that
LA:I was like as he said it before that started happening. I was like, What movie is that? Is it and then that sort of happened? I was like, That is not not anything. I was thinking about Sam
Berly:and Dane just like freeze what they're doing and just look up at them.
LA:Oh my god.
Berly:You seriously just watching Board? Why? Because it was
LA:I mean, hey
Berly:you're not supposed to watch porn at a roomful of dudes and you're not supposed to talk about it. And then there's just like a pause in the scene. And I was like, What the fuck was that? That was so awkward. Why was that? Even here? I was like takes taking over the recap prove your view from this part. No, no, but it all paid off. Because then Samuel shows up at the door.
LA:Oh no, you forgot about when Cavs looked down.
Berly:Oh god. Yeah, that's whatever it got. kind of awkward as Jean is like admonishing casts like you're not supposed to wash it in front of people. You're not supposed to talk about it. Cassio like, looks down. And he goes, Oh, great. Now he's got a boner. I was just like, This is so awkward. What is oh my god you're both just like
LA:comic relief and
Berly:random. Samuel knocks on the door. And Dean goes and answers it and Samuel comes in. Like, this is what you guys do you just sit around watching portos with an angel. And chaos comes we're not supposed to talk about it and LA and I died. I was like, okay, that long setup just for that punch line. 100% Worth It was so 100% worth.
LA:It was so good just the way he delivers those lines, like so flat, it's just so good.
Berly:Just a matter of fact. Yeah, he knows this information. Now. This is something new. He just learned. Same deal. We're not supposed to talk about no. I'm not turning it off. Like you should know.
LA:Oh, man, well, since Samuel is there, I guess he had to change the heart. A little bit. He
Berly:stared at his daughter's picture some more and was like, I mean, I guess these are her children. I don't care about them. But they're her grandchildren. She would care about them.
LA:He hands them a map and shows them on the map where Crowley is. Well, since they now know where Crowley is. They obviously get in contact with Meg. She shows up to where they are. I think it's at the motel at this point. Right? It's not the viney rundown place so it's
Berly:still dividing rundown. I really don't think they were in a motel at all in this episode. I feel like it was like a one of those abandoned houses that they crashed.
LA:Okay, all right. Sorry, guys.
Berly:You just really are you for the most I really
LA:am. Yeah,
Berly:I should have no there's no partition wall at all. You're right. That's the towel. Well,
LA:anyway, Megan, her little demons show up to join them. Sam ends up taking that what is it? What was that knife? The demon knife was rubies, rubies Davis knife out of fucking nowhere. He's just sitting there talking to mag and then he goes and stabs the one guy who had tied them up earlier. And
Berly:he's been mean bugging them the whole episode though. Yeah. And he straight up told him he was like y'all saw it. He was more concerned with killing us than getting the job done. If I didn't take them out. He would have fucked us over and all the demons were like, Yeah, okay, he's right. And then I loved how Sam was like, I'm keep on keeping this and I told you I was like he's sentimental. He wants to keep its rubies needs
LA:his little trinkets. Oh, back in this dilapidated house. completely missed. CASS is sitting on the couch Dean starting to pack getting ready. He's like, you know, you can help a little bit. And Cass says that he's ambivalent about what they're about to do. And he's like, what, what, why? And he says that he's not so sure that they need to really go and save Sam soul. Because that soul has been down there with Michael and Lucifer. No one else to the most ruthless demons.
Berly:Gotta love how everyone's just forgetting about Adam. Right? I
LA:know. I don't think maybe they're throwing all their attention on Adam and not Sam. Right?
Berly:Maybe Sam soul is just chillin out in the corner. And Adams the one No one's even mentioned?
LA:Not at all. I keep thinking about that too. Or do you think like Adams like hovering over Sam. So
Berly:protecting him? So maybe Lucifer and Michael are just fighting amongst each other. And Adam and Sam are just hanging out watching the show?
LA:Maybe we'll get to know I don't know because they never mentioned or mentioned Adam Cass is in the understanding that Michael new spurge fucking up Sam soul like they're just taking out all their frustrations on this soul that's down there. And so when that soul comes back up and gets into SAM, what's that gonna be? Like?
Berly:potentially go crazy is what it was making. What I thought Cass was kind of getting at Well, yeah.
LA:And he's like, Okay, well, yeah, you could just fix him. Yeah, no big deal.
Berly:We'll deal with it if that's what happens we'll deal with it. We'll
LA:figure it out. Like your brother's fuck will be fucked and play Yeah, and like miserable, but you're good with that.
Berly:You're good with that. You're like he can just deal with it until we figure it out.
LA:And then we see Sam like actually have sat there and heard their conversation in deeds defense. They do tend to find ways to work around things and fix things. Eventually. Yeah, but down. Yeah, no, I get it.
Berly:I felt for Sammy. Like he's just standing there off to the side. Like I
LA:could go on and on about this situation right now, but
Berly:I won't tease
LA:what I am or MC smash team of the hunters neg inner demons all meet up. Guess
Berly:what we thought it was a warehouse we did was like yet another another abandoned warehouse, but they changed it up
LA:shockingly which we've been here before, too. It's an abandoned prison.
Berly:But at least that explains where the why there were cages in it. Yeah, yeah, that one with alpha vampires still does that mystery solo cage? Yeah,
LA:this one makes complete sense. Yeah, that's where he's housing all these demons that are bringing him or all these monsters or whatever they are.
Berly:The other one. I'm still like, what was that? Yeah, where were they
LA:going through their flashlights. They're looking at each cell. There's like a dead body and one looks like a dead body. They flashed her light at one window and there's what I thought was a vampire because he like came at the window with his teeth.
Berly:I thought so too, but I thought the eyes looked funky. So I was like, I don't know if that was a vampire. Or if it was some mystery monster. Who knows? Yeah.
LA:And then you pointed out and one of the cells there's a there was a girl in there. And you said Who was she?
Berly:It was the same Jen from the season premiere, because she only had tattoos on her arms. They weren't on her face. And I recognize that black spiral curl Yeah, hair,
LA:and she had a little blood on her face. And she was like begging them to help her or like get her out of yeah, she's
Berly:clearly been getting tortured. Yeah. And they've had her since the first episode. Yeah. So Crowley has had her for a while. Why did he get so impatient with the shapeshifter and chop his head off and he hasn't hurt her so much? Well, Crowley he was softy, maybe
LA:season or for other things. Oh, God, that didn't cross your mind.
Berly:I mean, I know he's a demon and the King of Hell, but only goes to her at the end of that. So you're making me sad? Like, I know he's evil, but I don't want to think he's like evil. Yeah, I
LA:don't either. But I don't know. Who knows. But as they're wandering through these cell halls, they start to hear something. Or Matt, I think it's mag there he hears at first she's like, Ah, shit, and then they all hear it. And of course, deeds like, oh, fuck, yeah. Looks
Berly:like right.
LA:So this noise, they know that these clowns are coming. So they book it down this hallway. They close these doors,
Berly:the nameless demons that were there with mag get child down. Clearly, they would be the ones to go first. Yeah. And we get our Oh, yeah. Because remember, we had a big debate about this. We decided to count it twice, because it was twice as many distinctly Well, not really, it wasn't even that impressive of us balloon. It did. There were two distinct separate ones.
LA:There really were like it went through one window, pause and then the other window.
Berly:And so we decided to count it twice. So we got our 41st and 42nd blood splooge as blood sprays on the little peekaboo windows on the doors from the two demons getting mold,
LA:and then we rewound it just to see again, if we should count it twice. And then at the same time, we're both like, oh,
Berly:there was blood coming through, seeping through the window. I was like, I wonder was not sealed very well. Yeah, I still don't know if we should count it twice. Because like whenever the zombie heads were getting shot, and there were splatters. We only count that the counted that is one. Okay. Well, the count is one. Okay, so it's just 41
LA:Every time you say it, no, just like whispered
Berly:I mean, that's probably honestly more like 50 True. Oh my god. We're almost a 50 We should do something to celebrate. Well, we
LA:should. Okay. All right. Back to the Yeah, person. They locked it down. Yeah, they locked the
Berly:doors like a lead pipe or something out of his pants. And they like barricaded the door with it and assaulted. And I was like, Where'd that come from? Right. Keeps it the same place as this magic machete.
LA:Mm hmm. Is that what he calls it?
Berly:That's what I call it.
LA:Well, as they're standing there, they say they they kind of are like, What the fuck are we gonna do? Mag, you can see the hellhounds. I mean, if you can hold them off, get rid of them. We go run, we take Crowley meet up, you know, take them out. And she's like, okay, that's fine. And for some reason, we didn't know she decides to just go ahead and give Cas A big ol kiss. And they did show her hands sliding into his jacket.
Berly:Yeah. Well, originally, Sam tried to give her the demon knife again. And she said no, you need to keep that to use it on Crowley. Oh, that's right. I forgot about that. And that's when she went in for the kiss. Right. But still, we were still going with a frog. Is she doing? Yeah,
LA:I was just like, okay, she's getting a goodbye kiss. Obviously liked cats. Yeah. And so she breaks the kiss and cast looks at her, grabs her kind of pulls her up and then pushes her against the wall and just starts laying into her kissing her. And
Berly:I look to LA and I've seen this scene before. I was like, I don't remember anything else about this episode. Nothing else. But I know I've seen that. So we are caught up but I still don't remember anything. It's been over two years. At this point. I don't I don't remember anything.
LA:It was Actually it was hot. Yeah, I mean, he had her up against the wall as hey handled in her hair. And then we pulled away from her. His hand was on her like her leg lands on her neck.
Berly:It was hot. It
LA:was we were we may have her wound it like three
Berly:times. Yeah, we may have watched that more than once.
LA:It was but I was proud of cast. I was like, good for you.
Berly:Yeah.
LA:What did he say when he pulled away like, is your quote? No, because a dean and Sam was it was very awkward. Like it was hot what they were doing but poor Dean and Sam were like,
Berly:Oh, the fuck is happening? Yeah. I feel so clean afterwards.
LA:It was it was good. I forgot before all of that transpired that Meg tried to just ditch them in the hallway. She's like, Guys, it's been real. I got a piece out and she like, shoves her mouth open to this sky like thinking I was like, Oh, she's gonna leave um, no smoke came out. There was no black Billy we smoke. And she couldn't and Cass said oh, it's it's Crowley. He's got this place locked down under a spell you can't escape. Yeah. And so that's why she agreed to stay behind killed
Berly:her. Her counter offer was Okay, listen, I'm gonna peace out. And y'all can leave this body here right and let the hellhounds chew on this and that'll slow them down a little bit. But that was her counter offer he didn't work out. But she got a nice hot kiss out of she did
LA:worth it. It ends up when she grew up. She went in to cast his jacket she she took the angel blade and that's what she's going to use to fend off the hounds. And she does just that. Now the boys have run off there they're about to head down the stairs but they see bright light really fast and then they see Samuel with his hand over what are they called
Berly:was an angel banishing symbol but I thought it looks different from the one that we've seen it dad it definitely did. Yeah.
LA:So my god Samuel Campbell so they no longer have casts cast got
Berly:blown. Yeah. Not by not by men. Not yet.
LA:Crowley crumbs Kurt shouldn't say crawling he doesn't crawl he comes sauntering out behind Samuel from the corner.
Berly:He said Samuel was the best purchase he's made since Dick Cheney.

And Sam decides to be like, well consider yourself lucky. So we know it is in Sansa disgusting. And
Berly:in the meantime, Meg has defeated the hell hounds exhausted stepping over their invisible bodies. It was cute. And we're like, okay, she's gonna go help them or something. But like, No, all of a sudden somebody appears around the corner knocks the grass out. And we're like, Who is it? Sure enough it pans over another. Fucking Campbell can Christian Rishton demon Christian. Worse, even worse. So demon Christian captures Meg. So they're all caught now. Yeah, Cass got blown. Meg, Sam and Dean are all captured. And unfortunately Meg does get tied up. She does get to me out thanks to say
LA:Samuel actually goes and visits Dean cell and he starts to say, you know, you're choosing Sam over your own mother. And Dean's like, well, you chose demons over your own grandsons. And Samuel is all like, what are you guys to me? You're practically a stranger. Dean says like, that's your grandson. Like, you don't want to help save him save his soul. And he says I don't even know what Sam is. Yeah, and it's like, fuck you. So Dean's like alright, aren't Gramps? I'll tell you who I am. That I'm thing you don't want to get out of here. You don't want me out here because I want to come for you. And he says when he gets out of here because he will because he always does. Which I was like I kind of like Scott a little cockiness.
Berly:And I like just he like completely switched like because he was bleeding a little bit and kind of like what the fuck man Unlike trying to understand and there was a switch, there was a moment where Dean's character decided done with you. Yeah, that's it.
LA:He's like, alright, yeah, maybe we're blood but we you call me a fucking stranger you see you don't know am I? My brother is I'll be seeing you when I get out of here. He didn't say it as nice is that but basically is that he's gonna fucking kill you

LA:So then we see the henchmen that the henchmen demons of Crowley's come and take Dean and they take them into this room. There's some bathtub looking thing that has something that looks absolutely disgusting. And yeah, we do not know what it is. I don't think I want to know what
Berly:it was like a slaughter room. Like there's something that he walks by when he first comes in. And I was like, What the fuck is that? Yeah, could not figure out what that was. And then there was a shower curtain that he moved out of the way and it was like body parts or something. I don't know. It was gross. It was yeah, it was. It was nasty.
LA:But after he sees this, like, gutted corpse behind a curtain, he turns around and they have let these other two guys in the room and they're like, have your fun. And I thought they were vampires. Were they not? I
Berly:don't think they showed us what kind of monsters they were point was they were like, oh, it's dinnertime or something like that they were going to eat them.
LA:And then it flips from that to Meg and she is strapped on the table that we've seen the other boys strap to fully clothed, but Meg
Berly:fully nude and when Ruby was strapped to that table, fully nude fully nude. Yeah. And I said, Okay, let's let's give them the benefit of the doubt and say that the reason they have them naked on the table is to give the visual sign of vulnerability. Right? Well then why were the men not like that? Why were the men allowed to portray that vulnerability closed? I feel like they showed more of Meg than they did Ruby. I you have same. You got some splainin to do.
LA:I mean, it was it was hot. It was hot. But it wasn't Jared
Berly:naked. Yeah, exactly. And it was a hallucination. Like, why wasn't Jared naked? Yeah, you could have had him naked in that one scene and then close again. At the very
LA:end. He should have been completely vulnerable in that situation.

Berly:how did Jared even know that table existed? Jared? Or not Jared? Sam, how did Sam know that table? Now that I'm thinking about it? How did he lose Nate about that table? Because I don't. Whenever it shows, it was dean that was on it. Dean was on it. Dean knows about it because Dean was a torturer and hell and all that other stuff. And when Ruby was on the table, getting tortured by Alistair or whoever it was, she didn't get rescued. They let her go. So how did Sam ever see that table?
LA:Good question. Hmm.
Berly:Still doesn't explain why his clothes were on when he was on it. And I
LA:need that explanation. Well, as Ruby starts to become Christian has dropped her down in there and he starts torturing her with the is it a radium later? Is that the Demon Blade?
Berly:He has the Demon Blade. Okay. They took that from Dane or Sam whenever they caught them. That's right. And he's cutting into Meg. And the sound effects on that because you can't see anything. We don't see anything. We just see Rachel miners performance of pain, which was great. But the sound effects.
LA:Well, after this, we see Sam in his cell and he knows they took Dean he knows like shits probably going down out there. What do I do? And for some reason, he decides to chew into his wrist. Take his blood gnawing on it. Yeah. And make a devil's trap on the ceiling.
Berly:So our question was okay, supposedly, you're standing in a room full of shit. Why don't you just use the poop to make the devil's trap on the ceiling? Like
LA:you couldn't just dipped your shoe in there, put it up on the ceiling. You didn't have to touch it. I said maybe there wasn't enough. You
Berly:did. You did say maybe there wasn't quite enough. And he needed to he needed to supplement. Maybe it was a blood and poop concoction all up on the ceiling. Maybe it was both. Maybe it was all kinds of bodily fluids. You're riding on. We were quick to judge you were right. So when the demons come in to get Sam and take him to go get fed to the monsters, they get stuck in a double strap,
LA:right? And somehow Sam knows exactly where to go to where Dean is and busts in, takes a pipe off the wall, throws it into this one guy's head knocking him out. takes the place out gets Dean. They're good. After
Berly:he ripped that pipe off the wall with his superhuman strength. That was like remember la he's been working out?
LA:I know. Okay. So after they get free, we don't see it necessarily. But we just see that Christian is like slicing into mag in places that I don't really want to think about slicing into her but that's what it was implied.
Unknown:And she's holding out Like she's not giving any information she was loyal man to tough bitch. Yep. But Dean comes behind Christian and stabs him with the Demon Blade and kills him.
LA:Let's hope it's real this time

And so then we see Crowley just strolling down the cellblock with his little cocktail in hand. And he go, Craig. Yeah, he goes to the gym, Sal opens it. And he's like, you know, hey, hey there sweet thing you want to tell me about your daddy. Now
Berly:you feel in chatty. Oh,
LA:I didn't know where it was going. But I could feel I didn't like it. Yeah. And all of a sudden the fire alarm goes off and he's like, hold that thought. Let me lock you back in takes off to where the fire alarm switches. There's Dean. Dean's holding it down and he stops it and Sam knocks Crowley out with the pipe. I guess that he tore from the wall.
Berly:It was a wrench. It wasn't Yeah, because I thought it was the pipe at first and then I saw like the top of it like is it the wrench? That's like this. Yeah, yeah, it was a massive because I saw the top of it. I missed that too. Like Where'd that come from? Same place where he kept the lead pipe and the magic machine. Yeah, he's just got pockets for days like an Inspector Gadget over here. Let's call it on he's got Mary Poppins pocket Mary Poppins pants. Yeah.
LA:He knocks them into a devil's trap. Basically that's on the ceiling right.

Berly:Crowley when she and she said earlier in the episode that she apprenticed under Alistair longer than Dean did. She can do some shots got
LA:it? Crowley confesses that he cannot get Sam solo out because he's down there with Michael and Lucifer. There's just no way he's getting down there to get it and he again reiterates like everybody else has he's like, why would you even want it like you're getting beat the shit out down there? Like what are you going to really come back with
Berly:and then even mag was like, I'm at a point. He's kind of point
LA:I forget. So He swiped he like takes out. Crowley takes out Meg and throws her into the devil's trap.
Berly:Well, she goes into the devil's trap willingly. That's right. Yeah. Because Sam and Dean are like he's useless to us. So Have at it mag do whatever the fuck you want. Go for it. So she's like, Y'all are gonna let me back out right? And they're like, sure, sure. So I thought they were going to double cross mag, but she gets into the doubles trap. And right away Crowley gets the best of her and uses the demon knife. He throws it up in the ceiling breaks the trap. Like she's not trapped in there either. No, but it was pretty damn smooth. Oh, so good. I mean, Crowley took care of business. He always, always does right away.
LA:This is another shocking thing that's never happened before. He has the boys frozen up against the wall. We've never seen it before. Yeah, he's getting ready to like prowl on them do something to them. But who shows the our boy casts and he's like, Hey, guy. What about this and he pulls out a skull. Crowley tries to call his bluff. He's like, Oh, cute. And he's like, no, no, it's not cute. He's like, restore Samsel and currently says he can't. I mean, Cass wastes no time. He's like, Oh, you can't or fuck you. Lights, those bones on fire. And Crowley goes up in flames, which
Berly:I want to be sad about. But I know he comes back. I know. This is not the end of Crowley. Yeah. Well, I didn't know that. So I was like, Oh, you were really upset at first. And that's whenever I looked at. I think that you saw that. I wasn't reacting that much. And so I had to be like, I mean, I know he comes back. I don't know how I don't know when but I know this is not the end of him. Yeah.
LA:And Meg has disappeared. Yeah, I guess in the midst of that little thing. And he was like, man, I was gonna kill her. He's like, I was gonna give you an hour with her though cast. Cast. Like why would you do that? Why would I want yeah,
Berly:they cast had a boner, and then he had bones.
LA:Burnham? Well, I don't know where they are at this point when they have this conversation but cast admits to them or thinks about car. Yeah, they're outside the prison. Yeah. And he admits to them that this battle he's taking on while they keep calling him back, that it's not going well. Things aren't looking good.
Berly:Crowley had taunted him about that earlier. And so he was like, you know, he wasn't lying like you Now I'm not doing good against Raphael up there. Dean was like, Well, you know if there's anything we can do to help, he's like, You can't
LA:Yeah. And then Sam mentioned, you know, like there's a whole prison full of monsters and demons that you might need to do something about cast. Yeah, he's
Berly:like, we can't let them go. Yeah, so Cassius is like I'm on it just goes and murders ever disappears, just goes and kills everyone, Sam
LA:and Dean start to get an argument over his soul again, and Sam's like, you know, when angels and demons agree that, you know, maybe my soul is not going to be in the best place. Maybe it's not a good idea to get it back. He's like, I might have to agree with them agree with Agree. Agree. Yeah. agree with them. I mean, I would probably think the same thing. Like he's like, his soul is damaged beyond recognition. Believe like, I could see that. There's no way coming back from it, you know, but Dean's like no. Well always find another way. And Sam's like, okay, and he walks away and then leaves Dean like yelling after him. Like,
Berly:get back. You're gonna get that phone. It was very soap opera like, yeah, you come back, you might walk away from the exam just walking away. But yeah, I did. Like, whenever Dean was like, you don't know what you're talking about. And Sam was like, No, you just don't like what I'm saying.
LA:Which Yeah,
Berly:I mean, Sam was wrong. All right. This episode was written by Brett Matthews and Jenny Klein. And it was directed by Robert singer, which are were you saying that when we ended the episode, and this wasn't a robber, like, this wasn't one of his best Robert singer esque.
LA:I wonder if it was there were so many different locations. Maybe it was just like too much to play around too much.
Berly:He didn't this wasn't like whenever I think of Robert singer, I think of like When the Levee Breaks with the playing with the lenses and the angles and stuff like that. And he didn't really do a whole lot of that in this one.

Berly:But I still love Mark Sheppard. Same. All right lore, while use of the word purgatory as a noun appeared perhaps only between 1160 and 1180, giving rise to the idea of purgatory as a place. The Roman Catholic tradition of purgatory as a transitional state or condition has a history that dates back even before Jesus Christ to the world wide practice of caring for the dead and praying for them and to the belief found also in Judaism, which is considered the precursor of Christianity. That prayer for the dead contributed to their afterlife purification was a single sentence. Those who, after death exist in a state of purification are already in the love of Christ, who removes from them the remnants of imperfection, as a condition of existence.
