Manns became connected to the Supernatural community through his longtime friendship with Jensen Ackles, whom he met in 2002. Their bond led to Manns becoming a convention regular beginning in 2007, where a viral video of them performing "Crazy Love" together introduced him to a global fanbase. His song "Vision" was featured in the show's Season 4 premiere.
Beyond performing, Manns has produced albums for Supernatural cast members including Gil McKinney, Briana Buckmaster, and Richard Speight Jr. His authentic storytelling and engaging stage presence have earned him a dedicated following at conventions worldwide, where he continues to perform and collaborate with friends.
