Today, I sit down with Mr. Logan to explore a powerful journey that spans childhood trauma, military service, and the long road to healing. Mr. Logan grew up in a religious cult where even simple things like chocolate, cartoons, and birthdays were forbidden. As a teenager, he faced deep isolation that led to suicidal thoughts before he made the life-changing decision to join the Air Force.

Mr. Logan shares his experience serving in Iraq, where daily attacks and constant hypervigilance followed him home and into civilian life. He opens up about the struggles of returning to family, coping with divorce, battling alcoholism, and facing suicidal ideations a second time. What ultimately saved him was his daughter, who inspired him to live as an example of resilience and strength rather than despair.

We also discuss how Mr. Logan transitioned out of the military to pursue his dream of becoming a broadcast television director, working on world-class productions from the Super Bowl to international concerts. Today, he combines neuroscience and military tactics to coach others as a personal growth strategist, while also sharing his story through motivational speaking. His message is clear: no matter how dark your “war zone” looks, healing and purpose are possible.
