AUGUSTA, GA. There are 2 things you already know about Augusta, GA. 1.) It's not far from Atlanta. 2.) It's home to the greatest sporting event in the world and golf course. The Masters at the famed Augusta National Golf Club, held every year during the 1st full week in April. This happens to be where I was born and raised.
I started playing golf around six years old. My father, a scratch golfer himself, taught me. I've played competitively in Junior and High School tournaments. Playing competitively required daily practicing and conditioning. Fast forward some 30 years now married and other responsibilities leave me little time to play golf even bi-weekly let alone daily.
Golf can be complicated, but doesn't have to be. As with anything, learning the basics and 1 or 2 main technique thoughts will go a long way in helping golfers of all levels enjoy the game. My podcast is here to help. 'Cause life is better with stix + nines.'
