★ABOUT ME★
Recovered Alcoholic - 2007
Mom of 4, wife in a conscious spiritual relationship with my husband. I am a cyclist, tri- athlete, and tend to my sweet gardens. I have a daily practice where I connect with Devine Spirit to live in my brightest light.
It takes courage to live our most open, authentic life. It's brave to connect with our soul and source and take action on the nudges from our gut - because, it can feel naked, vulnerable, and unknown. It is BRAVE to look out OUR "stuff" and heal it.
My prayer to you is that you continue to build a life you wildly adore. You are already doing it - stop overthinking and keep stepping forward onto your soul's path.
I am grateful to be sober today because of a power greater than myself and a spiritual program of action.
Let the embers of your soul's fire be wild.
With love

The Ultimate Self-Abandonment Was My Open Marriage
Since I was a young girl, I gave away my body as a way to prove my worth. My insides were saying, “No,” but I kept saying, “Yes.”
More than anything I wanted to be picked; I wanted to feel special.
This pattern of self-abandonment and sacrifice of my body continued for the next 30 years until I committed the ultimate act of ignoring my inner voice — I engaged in an open marriage, a decision that nearly killed me.
I continued to act in ways that took me so far away from my true self that it got to the point I didn’t even recognize myself in the mirror.
Abandoning yourself can be a small action. Or it can be a huge one like that. But until we are fully awake and connecting with our soul and higher power, it is so easy to get off of our truest path. The place where our magic is. The place where we are our brightest.
Join me in this episode of the podcast as I share the raw story of my ultimate act of self-abandonment. Sharing this isn’t something that’s easy for me but being vulnerable and my authentic self both privately and publicly is so important to me as I know that’s how we heal—hearing other peoples experiences that we can relate to.
In the podcast, I also share some helpful tools to help you get started or continue down the path to recovery. I used them as I healed from the shame-filled hopeless state of mind I’d founded myself in.
I hope you find this podcast healing as you begin (or continue) the path of recovery from abandoning yourself.
