Joyous & Free : Stacey Embers Podcast

Have you let anyone touch you: you may not have an external boundary

Stacey Embers

I would let anyone touch me, and I would touch anyone–anytime I wanted to. I now realize this was selfish and offensive behavior. It was later in my codependency recovery that I understood WHY I did this as well as other behaviors that revolve around not having clear and strong external boundaries.

In this episode I share about:

-how critical it is to have strong and clear external boundaries to protect ourselves and others
-how creating those boundaries creates a guide to where our “yes” and "no's” are
-identifying behavior that looks “normal” but can be offensive
-the different purposes of boundaries
-how we can be abused or abuse others when we lack boundaries
- my personal stories of how I allowed others to offend me and how I physically offended others before codependency recovery

I love this topic, and I hope you do as well!

Let the embers of our soul be WILD!
Sober, Recovery, Spiritual Shop

★ABOUT ME★
Recovered Alcoholic - 2007
Mom of 4, wife in a conscious spiritual relationship with my husband. I am a cyclist, tri- athlete, and tend to my sweet gardens. I have a daily practice where I connect with Devine Spirit to live in my brightest light.

It takes courage to live our most open, authentic life. It's brave to connect with our soul and source and take action on the nudges from our gut - because, it can feel naked, vulnerable, and unknown. It is BRAVE to look out OUR "stuff" and heal it.

My prayer to you is that you continue to build a life you wildly adore. You are already doing it - stop overthinking and keep stepping forward onto your soul's path.
I am grateful to be sober today because of a power greater than myself and a spiritual program of action.
Let the embers of your soul's fire be wild.

With love
