Who are you, and what are you here to do? Who are you, really—the real you—and what are you here on Earth in this life to do? Now, that's quite a question. I'm Rahelios, and you're listening to The Judo Mindset Podcast, where David Mills and I share with you tools to assist in discovering your path of greatest inspiration and then living that path joyfully, powerfully, and intentionally.

So, again, who are you? What am I meant to do in this world? Often, we find ourselves pondering this question, usually in moments of frustration or lack of motivation. As you go through each day, wondering, "It just seems like something's missing. I'm not really feeling inspired in what I'm doing." That's the first question. Okay, if you're an adult and already deep into your life, do you wake up every day excited to go to work or whatever it is that you do? Is it exciting and inspiring to you?

Often, especially as we reach middle age and beyond, we kind of settle into a feeling and understanding of, "Well, we don't need to be inspired. Our work doesn't need to be inspiring. It's just something we have to do. We got to go to work, make money, just grin and bear it." However, that certainly won't lead to a life of inspiration, joy, passion, excitement, wonder, or fulfillment—fulfillment when you feel like you're really doing what you came here on this Earth to do. Like you're serving people in a powerful way, like you're being your true, authentic self. If you're going through your days feeling lethargic, lacking motivation, feeling frustrated, angry, depressed, tired all the time, lost, or just feeling like something's missing in your life, then that's a sure sign you're not partaking in your purpose.

So, what is my purpose? That's this great, grand question. But we do have one. There is something or multiple somethings that would just cause your heart to sing if you were doing them. And what is it? How do you find that? It's really about exploring your desires. First of all, if you have this deep feeling inside that comes up over and over—that I was meant to do something greater, meant to do something grander, meant to do something different—I just have this feeling. Well, guess what? That is a sure sign that you ARE meant to do something greater and grander.

Now, does that mean you've got to do something big that's going to change the world, something gigantic and huge? Yes, but not necessarily in the way you might think. What is going to change the world is going to be world-changing. You are meant to do something that's going to change this world in a grand way. But what we are all collectively each meant to do that's going to change this world, that's going to make it a much better place than it is today, is when we each individually discover who we really are inside and what we are here to do. What is that thing that we feel inspired and joyful and excited to go out and do every day because it's serving others in our deepest, most authentic way? Giving of who we truly are inside—what is that thing? And when you, we, discover that and live that life doing that thing, however small it may be, each of us doing that, shining our light, shining our joy into the world, that is going to change things. That is going to make this world a better place.

Our system, the way it's set up today, is broken. The educational system doesn't really put us in a position to discover those things about ourselves. It's more about just learning the tools you'll need to be a good employee and then go out into the world and pick a job and start doing it. They don't really even get into the "why." Why do you work? Why do you have a job? And is it just to make money?

Envision a situation where everybody works because they know they're here to serve each other, to fulfill our place in this grand team—Humanity, Team Planet Earth. We all have a role to play, and as we grow past our selfish child stage, we realize that it's about each other, it's about all of us. We want to serve that role. We want to know what our place is, and we want to fulfill that. And that's why we go to work, because we're fulfilling, giving that piece of ourselves to the whole. We're fulfilling our role on the team, and the best thing we should do is what we're best at. We're each individually really good at something, and usually, it's that thing that we really enjoy. It could be anything—it is anything. What do you really enjoy? What makes you feel fulfilled? What excites you? Is it raising your children, reading, performing, building things, construction, tinkering, inventing, being artistic, drawing? Because no matter what that thing is, it has great value if you share it.

We must share with each other that thing we're good at, that thing we love, that we enjoy doing. When you share that—whether you're sharing the finished product of what you've produced, whether it's a physical product or something to be enjoyed like a form of art, or whether it's helping others to learn how to do what you enjoy so much—if it brings you such joy, it will surely bring others great joy, too. People would love to learn what you already know. You're already doing this thing.

And it's something we should learn at a very young age: to take whatever we're doing, whatever we're enjoying, and then turn to those who are behind us on the path, who aren't at the point where we are yet, and let them know what we know, help them, assist them along the way.

That act of giving is of great value. Whenever you assist others, especially when you're giving something special from within, you start to feel joyful, excited, and proud. You see that you're contributing to someone else's enjoyment, contributing to the whole. It's not just about you anymore.

So, that is what we're here to do, all of us. And as you find that thing that you love, that's what you're here to do. That's why you love it. That's why it brings you such great joy—it's literally what you are here to do and not just do, but to share with all of us. Those who want to do that thing, learn how to do that thing, enjoy that thing, participate in that thing, or consume that thing—that's what you're here to do.

As we all discover that and start living in that way, we all become more joyful. Those around us become more joyful. Our lives become more joyful and inspired. Things are going to get really exciting here. This is the way it could be, the way it should be.

This is what The Judo Mindset is about. We want to give you tools to help discover what that thing is within you and then tools to help you go forth and live it. Now, don't just quit your job just yet. But there are always ways for this thing that is you, this thing that truly inspires you, this piece of you that is really deeply, powerfully you. Not only will it bring you great joy and fulfillment, but as you share it with others and it brings them also great joy and fulfillment, that creates a reciprocal flow where you receive value in exchange for the value you're giving. That's the way things should be, and it can be.

There are always ways to "monetize" anything—anything you can imagine. There are 8 billion of us here on this planet with such diverse desires and things we're interested in. Anything you can imagine is being given in a valuable way and providing very comfortably monetarily for those that are giving it. You'd be surprised, especially when you do things right, do things in certain ways.

Between myself and David, who maybe you haven't met yet or haven't heard from yet, but he's very successful financially, and he's learned a few tips and tricks in his day. You're going to hear a lot from him as well. We have a lot to share with you. Again, we have a website, TheJudoMindset.com. Please go there, sign up for our newsletter, where you're going to get more content similar to this and greater things coming still.

We both really feel called to give our gifts to the world. That's why we're doing this. We want to share with you. We want to inspire you to become you, to become the most powerful, inspired, joyful, loving version of you that you can, and then to share that with the world in a powerful way. So that all those who are here to benefit from what you have to offer can benefit, and we all grow together. We're all going to have lots of fun together.

This process can and should start in childhood, but it's never too late. No matter where you are in life as you listen to this, it's definitely not too late. Of course, the best time to start would be 20 years ago, but the second-best time to start is now—right now, today. By just making the decision to start thinking about what really excites you. And if you don't remember what used to excite you, what excited you as a child, what kind of crazy dreams did you have? Or just silly things that you used to love to do that people told you to get over because it was just some silly childish thing that's never going to get you anywhere or is a waste of time. If you enjoyed it and it called to you every day, it's very likely that it is for you, your special gift. And what a shame that you've forgotten that.

So, I'll leave you with that thought for today. Again, I'm Rahelios, and you've been listening to The Judo Mindset Podcast. We'll talk again soon.
