#43 Kayla Thorpe - Track & Field at the University of Maryland

Meet Kayla Thorpe from Upper Darby, PA! She's a track & field athlete at the University of Maryland. In 8th grade, she fell in love with the sport and surrounded herself with an amazing support system of coaches, trainers, family, and friends who have had a huge impact on her career.

During our chat, we talked about competitiveness at the Division 1 level, mental and physical health, and the NIL era. Kayla shared how NIL has helped boost her brand and open doors to exciting opportunities. She's aiming to land deals with Crocs, Capital City Mambo Sauce, and Under Armour.

Apart from her athletic ambitions, she's also passionate about the media and advertising industry, helping kids with autism, cooking, and traveling.

Kayla also offered some valuable advice to the next generation:
