Introducing Alex - Innovative Urban Planner and Founder of Steffan Town Planning (STP)
Alex is a highly skilled and passionate urban planner with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Born in Brisbane, Australia, Alex graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Urban and Environmental Planning in 2008. After graduation, he founded Steffan Town Planning (STP), which has now become one of the leading town planning consultancies in Queensland.
With an unwavering commitment to achieving the best outcomes for his clients and the community, Alex has been involved in over 2500 approvals throughout his career. He constantly seeks new challenges to develop innovative solutions for urban planning with data-driven automation and GIS mapping systems. His ultimate goal is to create strategic planning tools that use interactive maps and data to best plan urban environments.
One of Alex's most significant accomplishments is developing the world's first interactive town planning application, PropertEASE, which has revolutionized the way town planning is carried out. In addition to his innovative contributions to the field, Alex is also a passionate educator who provides ongoing education and training to the town planning community via the Urban and Regional Planning Education Centre (URPEC).
Alex's expertise and dedication have earned him a reputation as a go-to urban planner for a wide range of projects, from small carport extensions to large commercial/industrial developments and subdivisions.
