We started this podcast because we both found that we had very busy lives and we weren't speaking to each other enough. When we did talk, it was always about camping. By putting a podcast episode out every week we make sure we keep in touch. It's as simple as that.

Tim has reflected on those first purchases and, with hindsight, recognises the mistakes. He spent money on what he thought were the priorities but time has taught him they were the wrong places to focus his funds. He has now pulled together a kit list of items that illustrate exactly where you should focus your money if you are making those very first purchases today.
