Carlos Salazar is a rancher and farmer and is a retired employee of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. He is a graduate of New Mexico State University and is a US Army veteran. He currently is serving as president of Northern New Mexico Stockman’s Association (NNMSA). He also serves as vice-chair of the New Mexico Federal Lands Council and vice-chair of the New Mexico Cattleman’s Water Committee.
