What if you practiced your dream life until your body believed it? That’s the heart of our conversation about a “Delulu trip" I recently went on. It was an experiment to embody the person I want to become. To make confidence, ease, and opportunity feel normal instead of rare. And to manifest faster, of course.

Curious about what my delulu trip actually looked like? Watch the video version of this episode on YouTube.

Tell me. Would you go on a delulu trip?

SPEAKER_00:

Is this thing on? So I recently was invited on a trip to Panama, and I decided that that trip was going to be my Dululu trip. Now that I hear yourself asking this question, what is a Delulu trip, Russell? Well, I'm glad you asked, and I cannot wait to answer that question. But before I do so, hi, my name is Roselle Celestina. I'm a coach and a podcast host. I make podcast episodes just like this one, in which I help you, yes, girlfriend, you. I help you identify and release those fears that are blocking you from creating that life that you have envisioned for yourself, that life that you have dreamt of, that life that you desire. Yes, honey, it is possible. So, what is a Delulu trip? Well, a Delulu trip is a trip that you go on, then in which you act as if you already have it all. That's a trip that you take that is so delusional or that you allow yourself to be so delusional that you come back with it from feeling like oh I'm already living the life of my dreams. That is the reason behind it, and that is exactly why I encourage you to take a Dululu trip. Now, what is the reason for it? And why do I advise you to take it? Well, besides the obvious, which are already stated, it is also great for your nervous system because this the Lulu trip is going to help you step into the version of you who already created that dream life. It's step into the shoes of her who already has it all. And when you do that, even for a short while, it helps calm down your nervous system. Because how many times aren't we afraid of so many things? We're afraid of judgment, we're afraid of being seen, we're afraid of feeling guilty if we do realize those dreams that we want to realize. So, this trip is to help your nervous system become familiar with this new version of you and feel safe. It is for you to act as if you already have it all, with no stops and no, we are not gonna get anything to be in our way during the whatever period of time this Dululu trip is for, right? And then so in my case, I chose Panama because Panama was the perfect backdrop for this. First of all, from St. Martin, it is just three and a half hours' flight, about three and a half hours, if I'm not mistaken. And also, Panama, depending on the time of year that you visit, can be quite affordable. So it gives you more bang for your buck, if you know what I'm saying. So, personally, for me, I didn't only want to act as if I already was this new version of me, I wanted to feel like what she feels, I wanted to do what she does, and I wanted to look how she looks. And in my head, I already knew exactly what I had to do. So I went to the salon and I spent quite some grueling hours, I tell you, to go from curls to this, and I'm quite happy with the results, I might add. And I did my eyebrows, I did my nails, and then I upgraded my seat to business because I am pulling all the stops here, you know. If I am going to act as if I already have it all, I might as well do for the four days of this trip, right? And girl, from the moment we were dropped off at the airport, I stepped into my new role. I acted like her, I walked like her, I got into my seat in business class and I felt good. I was feeling like I already had it all. We had a driver in Panama that picked us up. I walked on those cobblestone streets of Casco Viejo feeling like I was her. I had drinks on rooftops, I ordered from menus without actually looking at the price first. I went and visited little places that I actually wouldn't feel comfortable going to. I dressed the part, which was for me the biggest part of the transformation. So I became her, and let me tell you something, it felt so good. That's the power of embodiment. You do not wait for life to show you all that it needs to show you. You do not wait for the opportunities, you create it now. And the Dulu trip is just perfect for that. But here's the great news you do not need to actually travel for you to become this new version of you. You can have a Dululu experience right at home, whether it's just for a day or a weekend getaway. It doesn't matter as long as you can act as if you already have everything that you want in life. So, yeah, this trip was a whole lot of fun. But I have to be honest with you, there were still moments when I had that little pin of insecurity. Like, for instance, when we went to this amazing five-star resort for a for a drink in this speakeasy that is buried somewhere in this resort, and we had ourselves a great time. But that you know, when I stepped out of the the car and I took a step into the lobby, and this lobby is glorious, it is gorgeous, and the people around me all they weren't acting, they were that version of me that I aspired to be, you know, they have everything already, or at least they were really good at acting the part, you know, the women in their heels and their hairs all done and the makeup on. And I had a pinch of uh, do I really belong here for a second? And the same can be said for when you know I boarded and took a seat in business class because, as you know, business class boards first, so the entire plane still needs to board after you, and I had to deal and I really had to remind myself why I was doing this Tululu trip and why it was important to act as if I already had it all. That and I had to act as if this is the most normal thing for me to sit in business class. And yes, I had to deal with the stairs, and sometimes, you know, kind of like do I look at the people that are passing me by or do I act as if this is the normal thing for me? You know, I had to deal with the stairs, I had to deal with, you know, seeing people that you actually know that are going into the back of the plane, and here you are sitting in the front. I had to deal with the shame and the guilt and all of those really awkward emotions that can come up when you are acting as if you already have it all. So here are the takeaways. I absolutely a hundred percent suggest and urge you to actually take a Dululu trip. Whether you go on a trip abroad or you do this at home for a day or a long weekend, it doesn't matter. Acting as if you already have that dream life is so important. Embodying that version of you is the most important thing you're gonna do. It is not only going to familiarize your nervous system with this new version so it feels safe for when it starts to happen, but by embodying this new version of you, this this spectacular, beautiful version of you, you also start attracting all of those opportunities and experiences that are going to help you level up. So, yeah, acting as if you already have it all is so important for your self-esteem to silence those voices that are currently telling you that you can't get to where you want to get, and it's also important for your growth, your confidence, your badass self. So now I want to know from you have you ever taken a Lululu trip? And if you have, please leave it in the comment section below. I want to know how it went for you and what that trip was like.
