It's crucial to delve into the students' thought process behind their answers, which is best done through quality questioning and personalized feedback. However, we see the merit in automated features and might explore this in future iterations
Harvey: Can assessments be tweaked based on real-time performance analytics?
Sharon: While we’re not a student platform, Teacher Time Machine is designed to help teachers swiftly generate quality assessments. We aim to ease the process of triangulating evidence from conversations, observations, and products. The quick generation of observation checklist items, for example, enables teachers to map student understanding, informing their forward instructions swiftly.
Harvey: The collaborative spirit often sparks innovation. How does your platform nurture collaborative assessment design among educators?
Sharon: All resources generated are saved to a personal library. Teachers also have the option to publish their assessments to a shared library. The robust tagging system facilitates easy sharing and access to others’ assessments, promoting collaborative assessment design and development.
Harvey: And how does the shared library function as a collaborative haven for assessment creation and sharing?
Sharon: Our tagging system in the shared library is robust, allowing users to sort by grade, subject, topic, and other criteria. This makes sharing and accessing assessments a breeze. In the future, we’re considering parsing individually generated questions to create a shared bank for users. Our upcoming Community page will also serve as a hub for collaboration and discourse among our users.

Sharon: While we excel in creating quality assessment items, Teacher Time Machine isn’t designed as a student platform to track data input.
