Decluttering Your Social Media
Oct 25, 2023 Episode 10

In this episode, I want to talk with you about something that’s important — decluttering your social media. I've personally experienced the overwhelming feeling of having a pile of videos in my drafts folder, and I can't stress enough the importance of having a clear plan and focus when using social media. It allows you to enjoy the experience of social media and create content authentically. I’m sharing my 3 top tips on decluttering your social media.

1. Unfollow Accounts That No Longer Serve You

As creators and business owners, I want you to follow a rule of not following more accounts than those that follow you. Think about how each account makes you feel and only keep those that make you feel valued and connected.

2. Empty Your Drafts Folder

Next, empty your drafts folder. Post the content that has been sitting there or delete drafts that no longer resonate with your audience.

3. Archive Irrelevant Posts

While it's important to see growth, there may be posts that no longer reflect your brand or image. Archiving allows you to keep a record while ensuring your social media feed accurately reflects your true self.
