Speaker 1:

Welcome to Mompreneur Like a Rockstar, where we dive into the stories and strategies of extraordinary female entrepreneurs. That's you, my friend. As we navigate the twists and turns of our mompreneur journeys, it's natural to question our progress, our decisions and even our purpose, because, women in business, we're no strangers to hard work, dedication or perseverance. We set goals, we create plans and we strive to achieve success on our own terms. But amidst the hustle and bustle of the chaos and change, it can become quite easy to get distracted, lose sight of our vision and our why, and even go as far as quitting right before it gets really good. Hey there, friends, I'm your host, daphne Walter, and today's short episode is all about recognizing and embracing the blessings that often lie just beyond the boundaries that we set for ourselves. So let me give you this most probably random example, but I'm sure you can relate. Have you ever been to one of those wave pools at a water park? So what a wave pool basically is? It's a pool of water. It's like a pool of water that has a shallow end and it goes all the way to the deep end. And I don't know the exact amount of time. It's like every five or 10 minutes or so, but they'll turn on the waves per se, and what that means is, if you're at that deep end of the pool, you start feeling the momentum shift in the water and these waves start to build up over the next few minutes. It starts off really calm and then it speeds up and speeds up and the next thing you know, if you're in the deep end, you're going to get beat up by the water. Now, if you're in the shallow end, you are not really going to get affected by the waves. You just kind of stay on there and watch what's going on around you. You're not really in it, but if you're like me, you like to stand in that deepest end and you anticipate for those waves to get bigger and bigger. Because my strategy, what I like to do, is I like to jump up and down. So when the wave starts to come at me, I'll jump. And it's like I almost hurdle the wave right. Because if you don't have a strategy how to navigate those waves, in those few minutes that the waves are coming crashing against you, you are going to get hit, and you're going to get hit hard. If you're not prepared, you're going to get sucked under the water. You lose your footing.

Speaker 1:

However, if you know how to catch their wave just right, you can turn with your back against the wave and wait for that shift to come at you. And when you see that wave starting to come right at you, you turn around, you put your back at it and you're just getting ready for that wave and you jump in the air and you catch it. You're riding that wave, you're on your stomach and you're gliding, and now sometimes that wave will only take you a couple of feet. You have that disappointment, the waw, waw, waw, like I didn't go very far. But then there's that times where, if you catch that wave just right, the momentum of it can carry you clear from the deep end of the pool all the way to the shallow end of the pool, and then you know what happens. You can't help but smile. It's such an incredible feeling when you catch that wave and you ride it, because you don't know where it's going to take you or how far it's going to take you or how long you're going to be riding it, but in those brief few seconds it is the best ride of your life.

Speaker 1:

As female entrepreneurs, we often stop short of the blessings in our personal and professional lives when it feels like something isn't going our way, when the waves are crashing against us right or the path that we're on is filled with too much resistance or the unknown of what the future looks like. I believe it's because we sometimes underestimate our worth and our potential, society's expectations, self-doubt and the fear of failure can often hold us back from taking that next step when it comes to reaching our goals or hitting a new milestone, or just pushing forward in a new direction altogether. We set limits on ourselves because we resist becoming who we need to be to experience what's waiting for us beyond those limits, and it's crucial to recognize that our potential, it knows no boundaries. I understand that when the going gets tough, the tough sometimes will skirt right out that backdoor and not say a damn word. Everyone is afraid, whether they want to admit it or not. Everyone is afraid of the unknown, what they aren't able to see. Trust me. But the difference between the brave person is that they discipline themselves to confront the fear, to deal with the challenge and act in spite of that fear. They keep pushing, some days with more or less effort than the next, but they don't stop, they keep going.

Speaker 1:

Just the other day, I was reading an Instagram post that Rachel Hollis did and I'm probably gonna butcher this up, but she was saying how she's always telling her kids that when things go really good for us, when things just line up and they work out, we thank God. Right, we think the universe that it's working out, so we also have to remember that the Lord is also there when things aren't working out the way that we want it to or that we're expecting it to. She goes in to explain how the blocks that you're coming up against are an indication that something is not working and that you need a different solution, a new path. And when a different plan is chosen for someone, instead of growing with a change and seeing what lies on the other side of the rainbow oh, this is such a good one they are so dang bitter about what's happening to them. Notice, I just said that the plan was chosen for them, yet they're so bitter about what's happening to them that they can't see what's happening for them and they refuse to comply with the changes. They stop short. I'm sure you've seen that meme on social media where there's that little man. He's inside the cave with an axe and he's chiseling away at the cave, the walls of the cave, and then he all of a sudden, he just decides to stop and he literally turns around, not knowing that if he would just went a couple of feet further, on the other side of that wall was an enormous mound of diamonds.

Speaker 1:

Sometimes the greatest victories lie beyond the point where we want to give up. But your breakthrough, my friends, is closer than you think and in my experience, the rewards, the abundance, the gifts of life were all much greater when I gave in and I went all in to whatever was placed in front of me. Now, it wasn't always this way. When I started my journey as an entrepreneur, I didn't have a clear vision of what success looked like, so I had to and I actually still do this to this day. I immersed myself in the process. I've realized that my true blessings lay in the relationships that I cultivate, the lessons I've learned from setbacks and the growth that comes from stepping out of my comfort zone and continuing to move forward, even when it's dark, even when it's scary, even when I don't have the answers, even when I have to do it alone, even when Insert everything else. Here the point is, rather than fixating solely on a destination, I realized how much more important than embracing the journey was and how much more rewarding that it was when I didn't give up, just like I talked about last week, when I trusted the process.

Speaker 1:

So how, as female business owners, can we then break free from self-imposed limitations and embrace those blessings that are waiting for us? You guys, it starts with a shifting our mindset. We need to cultivate self-belief, resilience and a willingness to embrace the uncertainty surrounding ourselves, with a supportive community seeking membership and this is something I mention often practicing self-care. These are crucial steps towards unlocking our full potential. Often, when we get caught up in comparing our journey or progress to others or dwelling on what could have been or should have been, we forget to embrace the present moment, and that's when we gain clarity and gratitude and a renewed sense of purpose. Embracing the presence allows us to appreciate our achievements and learn from our experiences.

Speaker 1:

There have been moments in my entrepreneurial journey where I have faced some unexpected challenges or setbacks. Quite honestly, this is exactly what I'm going through right now with our staffing company or lack of staffing company as of this week. Just a month ago, I would not have thought I'd be going through everything that we have this month. Basically, my entire life got flipped sideways. Now, I won't say upside down, but we really got pushed over really, really hard. Now, instead of dwelling on this disappointment, I'm choosing to trust that everything is unfolding just as it should.

Speaker 1:

Each obstacle becomes an opportunity for growth, resilience and self-discovery. Friends, I mentioned that this episode was gonna be short today, so, as we wrap up, I wanna encourage you to dream big, to take risk and to never underestimate your abilities. Embrace challenges as opportunities for new adventures, and remember that the journey to success is rarely linear. Release the need for perfection and embrace this beautiful messiness of entrepreneurship. Trust that every experience, whether positive or negative, is shaping you into the visionary leader that you're meant to be, that you're meant to become. Remember that your journey is unique and you possess the resilience and the courage to overcome any obstacle that comes your way. So stay true to yourself, trust in your capabilities and always keep pushing the boundaries of what you believe is possible. The blessings that await you, my friend, are just on the other side. Dare to defy expectations and dare to embrace the extraordinary journey that lies ahead. Until next time, my friends, have a great day After that. Exp 보낸 게자 기존에 мы absolutely.
