Speaker 2:Well, hello and welcome to the Traveling Hypnotist Podcast. I'm your host and hypnotist, nicole Hernandez, and we're going to do a morning mini-hypnosis today because I wanted to give you something to help you start your day feeling refreshed, especially on those days when you feel like you're just rushed and you are dizzy with all the things on your to-do list. So, if you're ready to get started, go ahead and find a place where it's safe for you to close your eyes, because with your eyes closed, you can begin to listen and I mean really listen Becoming more aware of some things than you were before Perhaps the sounds in your room, perhaps the sound of my voice and the thoughts and the images that drift into the mind. Because with the eyes closed now, it becomes easier and easier To become more aware of a variety of things that otherwise would have gone overlooked. And I want to invite your awareness to travel, for you to imagine now that you're standing on a beach in Marina California, there in the Monterey Bay area, and, as you imagine, walking there along the water's edge, just noticing the waves continuing to roll towards your feet, and you look ahead and you notice footprints in the sand ahead of you and all of those steps ahead of you represent your mind and all the thoughts. And all of those steps ahead of you represent your mind and all the thoughts of all the things that you have on your plate, on your to-do list, all of the responsibilities, and I want you to take a nice deep breath in and, as you exhale, I want you to imagine that a wave just moves in from the ocean onto the shore and it just clears away all of those footprints. Just imagining that now a clearing of all those things to do, leaving the sand completely smooth and fresh.
Speaker 2:Now, because today is a new day. It is a new day, it is a clean slate. It is a day where you can get things done easier as you take them one by one, as you become more present to what's in front of you, moment by moment. And just imagine now another wave rolling into the shore and you notice a little white rock tumbling towards your feet, as if the ocean was offering you a gift, and you kneel down to pick the rock up. And that tiny gift symbolizes the abundance that's already around you.
Speaker 2:And just taking a moment now to notice your rock, notice the texture, whether it's smooth, whether there's tiny lines in it Just getting a sense of it now and go ahead and place it in your pocket as a reminder of this moment, because when you take the time to be present and I mean really present you can find that you notice the small joys in life, because it's not possible to really enjoy life if you choose to live it at a dizzying pace.
Speaker 2:And I wonder how you'll choose to slow down today, how you'll create more space for yourself by perhaps taking time to sit down and eat lunch without looking at your phone, or taking five minutes to walk and feel your feet on the ground, and I don't know what other ways you'll choose to slow down and be present today. But go ahead now and take a nice slow, deep breath in your body now as a sign of commitment to slow down today, and as you exhale, you can allow your mind to travel all the way back now, opening your eyes and feeling reset and present and ready to have a great day.
