Jesus enters Jerusalem as the promised King, yet instead of celebrating, he weeps. The crowds praise him but misunderstand him. They want political change, while he offers heart transformation.

This reflection invites us to ask: Do we truly recognize Jesus for who he is, or only for what we want him to do? Proximity to him isn’t the same as knowing him. Even now, he draws near — the question is whether we will recognize him.

Today's Prayer Prompt:

For Palm Sunday, pray that God would open your eyes to the joys and sorrows of Holy Week. Ask him to help you see the tensions that are a part of following Christ. Pray that God would walk with you and change you this week.

Today's Scripture Reading: Zechariah 9:9-17; Luke 19:28-44
