Isaiah’s prophecy comes to life in the suffering of Jesus. He is pierced, rejected, and crucified for us. The cross reveals both the depth of our sin and the depth of God’s love.
Good Friday invites us to slow down and sit in this reality. Before rushing to resurrection, we are called to see clearly. This is what it cost to save us.
Today's Prayer Prompt:
Confess to the Lord your failures. Come before him and admit how you have walked away from his desires and his best for you. Ask for his forgiveness. Ask him to empower you to leave behind those things that tangle your walk with him.
