Jesus spoke in parables in the New Testament knowing that ordinary man would not understand the magnitude of His messages. His own family and neighbors could not fully grasp that Jesus came to expose the truth of God and that He actually had knowledge of the foundations of the earth. Through His parables, Jesus led believers on a journey, revealing the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven to those whose hearts are open and spiritually discerning.
