All right now, step in, stand clear of the doors, and hold on. Because it's time for next stop stories. Where every ride ain't just a ride, it's a situation. See, on this train you got three rules mind your business, watch your surroundings, and whatever you do, don't make eye contact because you never know who or what it's getting on next. Let's ride Now one thing the Metro will do is mind your business for you. Because even when you're not trying to be in something, somehow it finds you. So I'm sitting down peaceful, scrolling on my phone across from me a couple. Now at first everything looks normal, quiet, calm, too calm, because out of nowhere she says Sam is she Now listen, I don't look up, but my ears Oh they clocked in. He goes What you talking about Wrong answer because now she pullin' receipts I saw the messages don't play with me Now the whole train gets real still because we all know this about to escalate. He starts whispering, trying to keep it low, but she notably was loud in the messages. Now people shifting in their seats, pretending not to listen while listening to everything. Then she turns and accidentally makes eye contact with me. Now I'm involved. See even they know you're lying. Ma'am, I don't know anything. I just got on this train. Now he looking at me like I'm the problem and I'm sitting there like I rebuke this entire situation. Next stop comes and guess what? They both get off, still arguing, still going strong. Doors close and the entire train exhales. One man shakes his head and says Oh that's why I stay single. And honestly, in that moment we all understood because the metro will take you places physically, emotionally, and sometimes into other people's relationships. So now I've learned don't look, don't react, don't agree with nobody because one second you're minding your business, and the next you're a witness in an argument you didn't sign up for. And trust me, this is not your stop to get off at And just like that we've reached the end of the line, but if there's one thing you should know by now, the Metro always has another story waiting. So the next time those doors slide open and you step on thinking it's just another ride, remember it's never just a ride. This has been Next Stop Stories, and I'll see you on the next train.
