You ever just sit on your front porch, not doing a single productive thing, but somehow feel like you're in the middle of a whole reality show? That was me. Cool breeze hitting just right, traffic rolling by like it got somewhere to be, and me I'm minding my business, but also lightly supervising everybody else's. Because let's be honest, your front porch will humble you and entertain you at the same time. And right on cue. Here they come. The wall huggers. Now listen, if you know you know, they don't walk up, they appear one minute the block is empty, next minute, lean lean lean, look like the wall got VIP access and they're just checking in. But today, oh no, attendance was low. Because that heat said y'all not about to be posted up on nothing today. Even the wall looked hot. So it's quiet, a little too quiet, and I'm just sitting there soaking it all in, enjoying my peace. And then boom, enter stage left. Mr. Sexy Car wash guy. Now I don't know who sent him. I don't know what his assignment is, but whatever it is, he is committed. Because why are you out here washing cars like this is a full production? Soap flying, water sparkling, muscles just out here being disrespectful in broad daylight. And I'm on my porch like okay. All right. I see what kind of day this about to be. Now I try to be mature. I said, mind your business. Look at the trees, drink your drink. But the heat started rising. And I don't know if it was the sun or the situation. But something was definitely heating up. Because now I'm sitting there thinking, is today the day? Is this the episode where the shirt comes off? Because sir, you already halfway dressed for the moment. Don't start something you not prepared to finish. And I'm trying to stay calm. I really am. But now I'm invested. The wall huggers done forgot they was hot. Now they watchin' too. Hold block quiet like we all tune into the same channel. No commercials, just anticipation. And right then I said to myself, you know what? This right here, this is premium entertainment. This is not regular porch sitting. This is front row seating.
