Happy Mother's Day to every single mother listening to me right now. Whether you're across the street or across the world, whether you've been a mom for years or you're just beginning your journey, I want you to hear me when I say this. Today's about you. And when I say every mother, I truly mean all of you. The moms raising children, the grandmothers, the bonus moms, and yes, the pet moms too. Because if you love, nurture, protect, and show up for a life every single day, whether that's a child or a fur baby, you are a mother, period. And today we celebrate you. Now me personally, I'm a mama four. And I thank God for my children every single day. They are my biggest blessings, my joy, my purpose. Now let me be real for a second. They will work your nerves. Oh yes, they will. And if you're a mom listening, you already smiled when I said that because you know. But even in those moments, the love never changes. Not even a little bit. Being a mother is not easy. It's early mornings and late nights, it's worrying when they don't answer the phone. It's celebrating their wins like they're your own and feeling their pain deep in your heart. It's showing up even when you're tired. It's giving, even when you feel like you've got nothing left. And sometimes you don't hear thank you. Sometimes you wonder, do they see me? Do they really understand what I do? And I want to tell you today they do. They may not always say it, they may not always show it the way you need, but your love, your sacrifice, your presence, it's shaping them every single day. You are building lives, you are building strength, you are building futures. And that matters more than you may ever fully realize. Now let me take a moment to talk to my pet moms. Because listen, y'all are not about to be left out. And I'm right there with you. Because not only am I a mama four, I am also a pet mom to three cats. Three demanding cats. So trust me, I understand a different kind of motherhood too. If you've ever canceled plans because your pet looked at you a certain way, if you talk to your pet like they've got a full time job and opinions, if your camera roll is nothing but your pet in the same position, just different angles, you are a mom. Okay. Let's be honest. Some of y'all are doing full meal prep for your pets. They've got snacks, routines, attitudes, personalities, and the love. It's real. Those three cats of mine, they run things. They have schedules, expectations, and somehow I'm the one reporting to them. But that love, that care, that responsibility, it's real. So don't let anyone tell you it doesn't count. Because it does. So whether your child calls you mom or they bark, meow, chirp, or just stare at you and knock things off the table for no reason, you're still out here doing an amazing job. And for those of us who still have our mothers here with us, that's a blessing. Being able to pick up the phone, give her a hug, or simply say Happy Mother's Day, that is something special. Never take that for granted. So today I want to leave every mother with this. You are enough. Even on the days you feel like you're falling short, you're not. Even on the days you feel unseen, you are deeply felt. Even on the days you're exhausted, you are still doing something incredible. Take today to feel the love. Take today to rest if you can.
