This week the message is from Sunday July 12th 2026 titled Made To Worship with Pastor Travis Blais.
The following are Scriptures and other points that were referenced during the sermon:
Worship= proskyneō
meaning: to kiss, like a dog licking his master's hand.
Showing profound admiration or esteem. to men and beings of
superior rank.
Noah webster: 1828 WORSHIP, verb transitive
1. To adore; to pay divine honors to; to reverence with
supreme respect and veneration.
Worship = is adoration and reverence
Revelation 19:7-9 NLT
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honor to him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and his bride has prepared herself. 8 She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear.” For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people.
Isaiah 14:12-14 (NKJV)
“12 How you are fallen from
heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut
down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! 13 For
you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will
exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the
mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the
north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will
be like the Most High.’”
1 Corinthians 10:14 (AMP)
“Therefore, My beloved, run
keep far, far away from any sort of idolatry [and that
includes loving anything more than God, or participating in
anything that leads to sin and enslaves the soul.”
“Loving anything more than God” LEADS TO SIN &
ENSLAVES THE SOUL
#1 = SPIRIT OF MAMMON [GOD OF POSSESSIONS & GREED]
#2 = BAAL [GOD OF POWER AND ROOT OF PRIDE]
#3 = ASHERAH [GODDESS OF PLEASURE]
Genesis 3:6 (NKJV)
6 So when the woman saw that the
tree was good for food [MAMMON], that it was pleasant to
the eyes [ASHERAH], and a tree desirable to make one wise
[BAAL], she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her
husband with her, and he ate.”
We need to recalibrate once and awhile, make sure our
adoration for God remains.
