2 Timothy 2:1–3 (NKJV) 

“You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.” 3 I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayer’s night and day

2 Timothy 4:5 (NKJV) 

“But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, the work of an evangelist , fulfill your ministry.”

2 Timothy 1:4-5 (NKJV)

 4 greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy, 5 when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you , which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also. 

2 Timothy 1:6-7 (NKJV)

6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Step 1 PRAY for your Timothy

Step 2 REMIND your Timothy of giftings

Step 3 ENCOURAGE your Timothy to Stir up the Gift

Ephesians 4:15-17 (NLT) 

15 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

1 Corinthians 12:21-22 (NLT)

 21 The eye can never say to the hand, “I don’t need you.” The head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need you.”22 In fact, some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary.

2 Timothy 1:7 (NLT) 

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

Ephesians 5:18-19 (NLT)

 18 Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit,19singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts.

Pray and ask the Lord:

1)Who are you calling me to lead? 

2)Can you show me one person to reach this year?
