Speaker bios:

Katie Reeves CEnv

Katie Reeves is a Chartered Environmentalist (through ISEP) and marine scientist with more than 20 years' experience spanning marine conservation, environmental consultancy and the energy sector. Her career has included helping to shape the Marine Act campaign and policy in the UK, developing whale shark monitoring and citizen science programmes in Qatar, and leading initiatives to reduce single-use plastics offshore, and securing environmental consents for major coastal and offshore developments. 

Alongside her consultancy, Katie is the founder of Festive Green, a circular economy start-up inspired by nature, and is passionate about creating supportive communities, particularly for women in business, while championing sustainability, collaboration and positive environmental change.


Tanya Ferry CEnv

 Tanya Ferry is a Chartered Environmentalist via membership of CIEEM. Tanya is a passionate and active environmental professional, with years of experience in aquatic environments from freshwater to the coast, specialising in estuarine fisheries, and sustainable development in maritime and ports. She has expertise in tackling issues like pollution and habitats under pressure.
