This is the second episode of “Talking with Authors” where we’ll be talking to a variety of best selling authors spanning genres — authors like Judy Blume, Brad Meltzer, Janet Napalitano, and so many more.

Today, our author is journalist and writer, Alexis Clark. She sat down with us for a discussion in July of 2018 at the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes Jewish College in St. Louis, Missouri.

We interviewed Ms. Clark at a nursing school. Why? Because the extremely unlikely, non-fiction story that she researched and published, “Enemies in Love”, tells the tale of a World War II era, Black, American Army nurse and her relationship with a captured German POW in the United States while the hostilities were still going on. The story of how these two people that would never have met, if not for the extremes in the societies on both sides of that war, is what we’ll hear about from our guest, journalist and writer Alexis Clark on “Talking with Authors” from HEC Media and HEC Books.

Our host is Paul Schankman.
