In this week’s message from Galatians 5, we explored Paul’s powerful call to stand firm in the freedom Christ has given us. Paul warns the Galatians not to return to the slavery of trying to earn salvation through obedience to the law, but instead to continue walking by faith through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The sermon contrasted the burden of the law with the freedom found in grace, showing that true transformation does not come through human effort but through the Spirit of God changing us from the inside out. We also examined Paul’s warnings about false teaching, the danger of legalism, and the difference between the works of the flesh and the fruit produced by the Spirit.
Ultimately, this message reminded us that the Christian life begins and continues by grace through faith in Christ. Through the Spirit, God not only gives us the desire to obey Him, but also the power to live for His glory.
