Appreciate the Clergy

In this episode, Dr. Mo discusses Clergy Appreciation Month and closing out Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 

Dr. Mo encourages us to remember the emotional load that clergy carry and to consider being a healthy support for them. Many clergy cannot disclose some of the issues that burden them due to the sensitivity and confidentiality that is required as part of their ministerial work. 

Tune into this episode as we consider being in healthy relationships with our clergy by extending gestures such as offering to pay for a counseling session, telling them you’re sorry about the hurt and abuse they experienced, and showing concern for them as humans with a high and heavy calling.
