We have all heard the golden rule: "treat others the way you want to be treated." But is that really what the Bible says?
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus tells us exactly how we should treat others. He tells us to love our enemies, to pray for those who persecute you, and to bless those who curse you. We are called to treat others the way that we want Jesus to treat us. That is different. It's counter-cultural. But it is what we are to do.
