Our immune system is situated mainly in our cuts, so it's no wonder that almost every problem with our health is based on out gut health. Taking supplements is a good idea, but if you have a hormonal disbalance that won't work. You need to increase the intake of beans, because their soluble fibres are combining with the no longer needed hormones and take it out of our bodies.
