Welcome to today's Guided Prayer, where we invite you to find a quiet space to still your mind and body.
Guided Prayers are a daily 5–10 minute, intentionally created moment to slow down and meet with God—through scripture, reflection, and honest prayer.
It’s not a program you attend.
It’s a pathway you practice.
A guided space where people can stop, breathe, and connect with Jesus—every single day.
Do you ever wish you could hit a restart button? Maybe in the middle of your day or the middle of your week, or on some days, even just a few minutes after you wake up. In Jesus, every day is a fresh start. The old things, guilt, shame, regret, are gone. The new has come. God delights in making all things new, beginning with you. 2 Corinthians 5, 17 reminds us, therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone. The new is here. Take these first 20 seconds of prayer and thank God that you are a new creation in Him. Thank Him that yesterday's failures don't define today's future. We are going to quiet ourselves before God for the next few moments and ask him if there is an area where you need to leave some old things behind and embrace what he's making new in your heart, habits, and mindset. Maybe something came to mind immediately, or maybe something gradually came to your heart with the Holy Spirit's gentle conviction or nudging. Talk to God for the next two minutes about those things you want to leave behind and ask for his strength and empowerment to walk in the new creation he has made you. And together we seal our prayer with an amen. Amen.
