Welcome to today's Guided Prayer, where we invite you to find a quiet space to still your mind and body.

Guided Prayers are a daily 5–10 minute, intentionally created moment to slow down and meet with God—through scripture, reflection, and honest prayer.

It’s not a program you attend.
It’s a pathway you practice.
A guided space where people can stop, breathe, and connect with Jesus—every single day.

Psalm 97 begins with a shout. The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice, let the many coastlands be glad. Clouds and thick darkness are all around him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne. The world's systems are often unjust, but God's kingdom is built on righteousness and justice. He reigns with perfect love and wisdom. His role brings hope and healing. Today, as we pause to pray, get into a comfortable position, away from distractions and the demands of your day, and give the next three minutes to the Lord. Let's start by taking a few seconds, and as you picture various situations you are privy to, either in others' lives or even in the newsfeed, and declare over each one out loud, if you are able. The Lord reigns. Bring that before Him. Your city, workplace, relationships, the world. Ask Him to reign in specifics today. Steady, pure, and full of light. Imagine His righteousness flowing from that place into your world. Focus your mind and faith on that picture for the next minute. Who comes to your mind? A person you know? A specific group of people or area of the globe? Pray for those who are treated unfairly or suffering injustice. Ask God to intervene with mercy and restoration. Let's close today together. Repeat this prayer after me. Lord, we rejoice that you reign in righteousness. Your kingdom is not corrupt or temporary. We trust in your justice, your goodness, your sovereignty. Amen.
