We have Omar Torres, who is a local leader and well-known name in our city of San Jose, California. Raised in the Washington Neighborhood of San José, Omar grew up seeing difficult challenges within his community such as poverty, lack of education, gangs, drugs, and other issues. He began his community organizing career at just 14 years old. He shares with us his story in today's episode.
