In this episode, I share the story behind Mother Kili, the documentary that followed a group of South Asian women as we took on Mount Kilimanjaro and challenged stereotypes about who belongs in adventure, leadership and spaces of possibility.
I reflect on the lessons the journey taught me about courage, identity and representation, and why confidence rarely comes before action. We talk about what it means to stop waiting for permission, choose yourself and take the first step before you feel ready.
More than a story about climbing a mountain, this is a conversation about the mountains we all face in our own lives and the power of seeing someone who looks like you do something you once thought was impossible.
