Each week I am joined by a bereaved parent to discuss baby loss, neonatal death, stillbirth, miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy and other issues related to pregnancy resulting in a loss. We will discuss other complications that may have left a devastating affect both physically and emotionally.
Today I talk to my friend Sam who talks us through finding out early on in her pregnancy that she was carrying a "Molar pregnancy", the complications that came along as she miscarried to the ongoing medical treatment she received before she could conceive again.
I met Sam in the early pregnancy unit. Sam was the kindest stranger and her story leads on to my emergency surgery 4 weeks after losing Isabella.
