But by the time I got to like twenty six or twenty-seven episodes, something like that, it was like, I don't think I can do a full episode about like Bretton Harris, the animal control guy. So it was like, I'm running out of characters, so

So yeah, that kept me busy for another like two years. So yeah, a hundred and eighty three episodes.

Well, the thing like that when they go on Jones show, it is just such a ridiculous panel of people they have. They have the woman who's against feminism and then the man who's upset that that woman's agreeing with him. You know, it's like it is it's it's written. I mean, you're supposed to be like shaking your head like these idiots, but it is like you said, it's written so funny to just like make people like that look so stupid. And it it's just fantastic. Well, so starting with the beginning of the episode, we open on the Harvest Festival or another Harvest Festival, which is again something that's so sentimental to me. It's something that we started off, which was like one of the things that Leslie, first of all, wanted to like save everybody's jobs with, but also proving to Ben. And then also kind of like, I don't know, in her head, I think it was one of the biggest things she's ever pulled off. And now look at where she's come from and what she's done since then. It's it's just amazing, like looking at where it all started. It's so beautiful. and I just love

So this this is gonna sound like a gripe, and I I guess it not really a gripe, but I and I I have daughters, love my kids, but I just kind of think that them having kids in the show was completely unnecessary. I know it it it it fleshed out their characters a little bit more, but this part where the kid runs by with the paint and the or maybe that wasn't the c or the original cold open, I think it was, when she yells out Steven.

I think that is the only time Ben or Leslie address one of the kids by their name. Because even later on in the episode, Leslie's like, All kids ran out, all kids back to sleep. One of them got out. As a parent to me, that just seems like you know, I don't you don't need it, but it's fine how they did it. Obviously, we didn't have to see this whole them bringing up the kids. But sometimes I just feel like the kids were complaining.

Yeah, it's it's that's it. That's it. But no, like I said, I mean, like, I think they it's not like they focused a ton of time on the kids. So it's not like I'm like, this is stupid, this is idiotic. There's just certain times I'm like, We didn't need that. But overall, they did it just enough to give us a little more character development. And we got some great stuff with like

And so this is where we get to April and Ron. April's very upset because she thinks she lets Ron down. But then we learn that Ron actually never needed this key. He changes his locks all the time. But what's more important is that he really trusted her, and we as the audience definitely knew that too. And he admires her as a person and he doesn't trust many people. So this is kind of a special moment that I think he just wanted to share with April, which is like we needed to see I think we needed to see this moment too, because of how sad he was when she left, first of all, but also how like kind of semi.

angry he might have been at not finding the key and we weren't really sure if that was a bad thing. but her leaving I mean April leaving was kind of what triggered his whole like leaving the parks department and the government and starting his own company. I mean obviously when Leslie left it was like a big deal but he knew that Leslie was going to leave and he knew that that was you know maybe just a stepping stone kind of thing. But when April left, I mean hit his Nick Oliverman's acting we talked about this a lot in that episode when he sees at the zombie pizza jamboree party or whatever when he sees April when he sees
