Take a moment to pause right where you are. When did you last allow yourself to truly rest? To breathe without hurry? To simply be?

This guided meditation offers a sanctuary for your nervous system – a gentle yet powerful journey back to yourself. Through carefully crafted visualizations and breathwork, we'll guide you through releasing emotional burdens that were never yours to carry. You'll experience the transformative practice of cutting cords to pain while filling yourself with healing golden light.

Many of us have dimmed our light for others, adapted to painful circumstances, or carried weight that wasn't ours to bear. This meditation acknowledges your journey while offering a path forward. With affirmations like "I forgive the past, I trust the future, I reclaim the present," you'll begin reclaiming parts of yourself that may have been set aside in difficult seasons.

The visualization of walking along a peaceful shoreline helps anchor these new patterns of thinking into your body. As the gentle waves wash over your feet, your nervous system receives the message: you are safe now. You survived. You can rest.

Whether you're healing from specific trauma or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, this meditation provides tools to return home to your body and heart. Remember, healing isn't measured by how quickly you move forward – it's about returning to yourself "one breath, one truth, one brave moment at a time."

Ready to reclaim your light? Press play, close your eyes, and allow yourself this gift of presence. Your journey back to yourself begins now.

Speaker 2:

Hello, hello, hello. You can sit back or lie down Whatever is most comfortable for you. When you're ready, in your own time, close your eyes, take a deep breath in through the nose, hold it for a moment and exhale slowly through the mouth. Do that again, that's it. Do that again, that's it. Now let yourself begin to soften, let the world fall away just for a few minutes. Connect and feel your body here, how your body is supported, safe, present, safe present, breathing. Now bring your awareness to your heart center and you might feel tension or heaviness there, and that's okay. Breathe into it Gently. Your heart's been through a lot. Show it kindness, pat and mercy. Say silently or out loud I survived, I am safe. Now I choose peace One more time I survived, I am safe. Now I choose peace.

Speaker 2:

Now imagine, visualize in your mind a soft golden light gathering in your heart. This is your life, borrowed, not broken. Yours. This is your life. See and feel it now, the soft golden light within your heart, and as you breathe, let it begin to spread, expanding and spreading out through your chest, it expands and spreads into your arms, your spine, your legs, filling you with warmth, with safety, with truth, from head to toe encompassed in this soft, golden light. Breathe it in, welcome it, embrace it.

Speaker 2:

Now, visualize a cord that once connected you to pain. It may be tied to a person, a belief, a painful memory and without judgment. Simply see it. It's just a cord and nothing more. Take a breath and, with your next exhale, gently imagine cutting that cord, the cord that may have been tied to a person, a belief or a memory. Cut it now and know this truth. You are not rejecting them. You are choosing you and say this in your mind or out loud I release what was never mine to carry.

Speaker 2:

I release what was never mine to carry. I release what was never mine to carry. I return to myself now. Let the light glow brighter. Amplify it. A bright, soft, golden light, like a golden egg. Feel the emptiness they left being filled with you. Stay here for a few breaths. Allow your nervous system to absorb the safety you can even imagine Swiss cheese in all those holes and you are being filled with your light. I am safe. I survived. I choose peace. I return to myself now and, when you're ready, place your hand on your heart and say these words, either out loud or to yourself in your mind I forgive the past. I trust the future. I reclaim the present. I forgive the past, I trust the future. I reclaim the present. And one more time I forgive the past, I trust the past. I trust the future. I reclaim the present.

Speaker 1:

Breathe in that truth.

Speaker 2:

Notice how calm and peaceful your body feels as your nervous system absorbs the feelings of safety. Now and now, imagine yourself on a beach. You can see and hear the ocean waves they're gentle, calm, calm. And just walk over to the water's edge. See how the water dances and foams and rivulets around your feet and ankles, telling your nervous system that I am safe, I am safe, I am secure, I am home, I forgive the past, I trust the future, I reclaim the present and just allow the water to soothe your soul and nervous system, bringing you back to balance Calm, peaceful, safe, secure and supported. Safe, secure and supported. Now, really anchor that in, because you are calm, you are safe, you are supported, you're grounded, balanced and centered, and you can stay here, dear one, as long as you need, surrounded by this protective, golden, bright light that is you Reclaiming your light, no longer dimming it for anyone.

Speaker 2:

Safe, secure, safe, secure that's it and when you're ready, you can slowly and gently begin to open your eyes, maybe wiggle your fingers and your toes and welcome back my friend. Welcome back home to you. Welcome home, welcome. Use this meditation and these prompts as often as needed. Healing isn't about rushing forward. Use this meditation and these prompts as often as needed. Healing isn't about rushing forward. It's about returning to yourself. One breath, one truth, one brave moment at a time. Therefore, we are complete, and this is wonderfully so.
