PRBC Sermon Podcast

Providence Reformed Baptist Church (PRBC) is a growing local body of believers in Remlap, Alabama. Providence is pastored by Kurt M. Smith and is a member of the Southeastern Association of Confessional Baptist Churches. In an effort to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as encourage the Body of Christ, we are launching this platform. This podcast will consist of the weekly sermons of PRBC as preached by Pastor Kurt. Although we believe these expositional sermons will be beneficial to brothers and sisters in Christ as they seek a deeper knowledge of our Lord and his Word, it is not our intent that they should be used in place of regular church attendance with a local body of like minded believers. Kurt M. Smith

Kurt M. Smith is the pastor-teacher of Providence Reformed Baptist Church. Kurt, married to Lorrie, has served in the Gospel ministry for 30-plus years. He holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Luther Rice Seminary (Lithonia, GA) and is a published author in the genre of Christian biography. His works include Thundering the Word: The Awakening Ministry of George Whitefield (2020), Piety, Passion, Paradox: The Life and Legacy of Basil Manly, Sr. (2019), Remembering Luther’s Fight: A Primer on Martin Luther’s Life and Legacy of Standing for the Gospel (2017), Holding Georgia for Geneva: P.H. Mell and the Baptist Defense for Calvinistic Orthodoxy (2017), and is co-author to The Gospel Heritage of Georgia Baptists: 1772-1830 (2016) Kurt serves on the Administrative Council of The Southeastern Association of Confessional Baptist Churches and is a board member for The Deep South Founders Conference.
