John Rollins
John Rollins is the Associate Director of Community Relations and Public Affairs at Lamar University (LU). He is a Southeast Texas native, and a proud alumnus of LU with a Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communication with a double emphasis in Public Relations and Journalism. In his career thus far, he has served as the public relations spokesperson for United Way of Beaumont and the Art Museum of Southeast Texas. With 13 years of solid community and media relations, event planning, marketing and journalism background, John currently finds himself on a new journey in the world of higher education here at LU. His heart for community relationships is a perfect match for the LU Moment, and he is excited to share his love for people and storytelling by showcasing all of the great things happening with Lamar University faculty, staff, students and alumni.
