Katina Prescott is originally from central Vermont. She received her degree from North Greenville University where she met her husband. In 2004, she began her career in office administration at North Greenville University, and then at Southern Wesleyan University. Concerned about the quality of her daughter’s education, Katina began homeschooling in 2013. Due to her husband’s declining health, Katina went back to work full-time while her husband homeschooled their two children. In 2015, Katina started working at SCAIHS, advancing to the role of Administrative Director. After her husband passed away in 2018, Katina enrolled her children in private school. In January of 2022, Katina began homeschooling again because of some challenges with her son who is on the spectrum. As a single homeschooling mom, working full-time, she has a special heart for helping SCAIHS families succeed.
