Laura Künlen

Laura is a member of the Investment Insights team at Rothschild & Co Wealth Management, Switzerland. The Investment Insights team is in charge of investment communications for a discretionary and advisory multi-asset class investment platform to investors and clients.

Laura graduated from the University of Munich with a Diploma in Law and a B.A. (Hons) in Art History and Philosophy. She also was a scholarship holder at IE (Instituto de Empresa) Law School from which she graduated with a LL.M. in International Business Law.

Prior to joining Rothschild & Co, Laura worked at Aventicum Capital Management, an asset- management joint- venture of Credit Suisse and Qatar Investment Authority, where she was responsible for corporate development. She started her career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Credit Suisse.

Kevin Gardiner

Kevin is Global Investment Strategist and a Managing Director at Rothschild & Co Wealth Management, having joined in 2014. He chairs the Asset Allocation Committee for the Switzerland-based Mosaique portfolios. Alongside his role at Rothschild & Co, he chairs the Regional Growth Board for the Cardiff Capital Region and is a trustee of the London Music Fund.

In 1994, while at Morgan Stanley, he authored the “Celtic Tiger” report on the Irish economy. His book Making Sense of Markets was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2015. Prior to joining Rothschild & Co, he was CIO (Europe) at Barclays Wealth. He began his career at the Bank of England and holds degrees from LSE and Cambridge.

Victor Balfour

Victor is an Investment Strategist and Director at Rothschild & Co Wealth Management, having joined in 2012. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and serves as a trustee of the Rothschild & Co Pension Scheme.

Victor began his career at Psigma, advising wealthy individuals, families and trusts. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol.
