Camden Schacher

Camden worked in law enforcement as a 911 dispatcher for 5 years and this experience gave her an insider understanding of the criminal justice system and the emotional toll it takes on officers and victims. Her infatuation with true crime and horror began when she was very young; she was the one picking out movies like Natural Born Killers, The Children of the Corn or Friday the 13th when she had a slumber party. In starting Ghosts & Garnets she has found the perfect way to blend true crime and ghost stories while trash talking with her best friend. She loves being silly with her family, listening to Audible (in the car because she’s old now), sharks, dinosaurs, wine with friends and telling terrible jokes….and naps.

Whitney Rivera

With a background in health care and an interest in criminal psychology, Whitney brings a unique perspective to G&G. She loves digging though archives, the older the case the better.
While she’s always enjoyed a good mystery, her journey into true crime began in high school, when she took a criminal justice class and spent a month diving into the Manson Family Murders. She was hooked. This experience sparked her fascination with the human psyche and the complex dynamics behind criminal behavior. The world of podcasting gives her the opportunity to explore these topics more extensively and connect with people who are fascinated with the darker side of life. She believes that humor can get you through the toughest of experiences, especially in storytelling. Beyond the podcast, Whitney loves spending time with her family and is an expert in napping and all things napping related.
