Emily holds a BA in Strategic & Organizational Communication and is a Certified Digital Marketing Professional. She excels at revitalizing brands, expanding reach, and implementing strategic marketing and business development plans. Jen Knox

As a Consultant in our Strategic Growth Advisory group, Jennifer’s architecture, engineering, and construction industry background is a true asset to our clients, helping firms improve business practices and drive leadership and ownership transitions. She has over 10 years of experience in construction, engineering, and project management. Her responsibilities have ranged from being an owners PM at a Fortune 500 Company to leading Strategy and Growth for a small skilled trades contractor.

Her passion for the AEC industry is built on a strong appreciation for the amazing work and community impact these individuals contribute day in and day out. Jennifer leverages her diverse background and MBA to help firms build collaborative cultures to drive success. As a co-host of the Groundbreaking Growth podcast, Jennifer brings her wealth of knowledge and insights to empower listeners.

Adrienne Tuck

Storytelling is in Adrienne’s DNA, as she was raised by a father in commercial real estate. As a high school student, she volunteered on the political campaign to have the American Airlines Center built for the Stars and Mavericks, because she knew it would be the anchor project to revitalize downtown Dallas. After studying journalism and political science in College, Adrienne moved to Colorado and carved out a career as a business development and marketing strategist for architects, engineers, and builders.

As the Director of Strategic Development, Adrienne deeply understands our client’s needs and builds collaborative project teams. She is experienced in starting and growing branch offices in the Colorado construction industry. She is currently serving as the chairwoman for Associated General Contractors Colorado South Committee, and the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute.

Barbara Stiles, FSMPS, CPSM, is a seasoned leader in the AEC industry with over 30 years of extensive experience. As a Senior Consultant in Stambaugh Ness’s Strategic Growth Advisory practice,  she applies profound knowledge gained as a former VP of Business Planning for a major engineering firm. Barbi brings proven, hands-on expertise in strategic growth, business development, and marketing, consistently helping firms navigate complex challenges.


 A distinguished Fellow of SMPS and CPSM, Barbi provides invaluable, results-driven guidance to AEC firms. Her counsel focuses on developing robust business development strategies, enhancing internal processes, and effectively achieving their most ambitious growth objectives. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida.
