Episode 8 (part 1): First steps after your injury with PT Natasha Wilch (Part 1)
In this episode, Cynthia sits down with Natasha Wilch (@natasha.wilch), physical therapist and concussion mentor on the first steps to take after a concussion, how to choose your concussion community and the beauty of healing in front of our kids.
About Natasha
Natasha Wilch is a concussion mentor, clinician, clinic owner, entrepreneur and all around passionate leader.
With over a decade of experience as a Registered Physical Therapist and seven years dedicated to working with concussion clients, she has honed her expertise to the point where clients travel from all corners of the world to seek her specialized concussion rehabilitation services at Symphony Brain Performance, the clinic she founded in 2015.
Her life was forever changed the day her first concussion client walked into her clinic. Since that time she’s made it her mission to elevate and transform the conversation and culture of concussion on a global scale.
She’s not your average mentor. Yes, she will impart neuroscience, guide you through evidence-based practices, and keep you up to date with the latest research. But it goes beyond that.
She leads with both mind and compassionate heart, blending science with spirit, and logic with intuition. This holistic approach may challenge some because it transcends the confines of black-and-white thinking.
But it is precisely this blend that makes her exceptional in what she does. And it is precisely this blend that has led to her becoming a trusted authority in the concussion space.
