Rob takes Hot Yoga Problems to Los Angeles and discovers that West Coast hot yoga is apparently the major leagues.

After surviving a packed CorePower Yoga session in Studio City — surrounded by what appear to be Jedi-level yoga practitioners — Rob walks back to his hotel and reports on the differences between East Coast and West Coast yoga, a new side angle pose variation, the enormous California studio, and the satisfaction of finally following through on his promise to practice while traveling.

Naturally, the walk also includes several Raff’s Brain detours: In-N-Out Burger and the mystery of Animal Style, Los Angeles gas prices, dispensaries, an AI filmmaking conference, upcoming experiments with AI-generated video and cartoons, and a trip to the Hollywood Bowl to see Counting Crows.

Then comes the ultimate reminder of advancing age: discovering that someone knows “Mr. Jones” because her dad introduced her to it.

It’s yoga, travel, technology, aging, commitment, and California culture — all crammed into one sweaty walk through Studio City.
