Childcare Conversations was founded by cousins Kate Woodward Young, M.Ed., PCC, and Carrie Casey, MBA, to create practical, honest conversations about the real business and leadership challenges facing early childhood professionals.

Today, the podcast is hosted by Kate Woodward Young and features childcare owners, directors, experts, and industry leaders talking about leadership, staffing, enrollment, finances, systems, growth, and the everyday decisions behind stronger early childhood programs.

Kate Woodward Young, M.Ed., PCC, is an author, keynote speaker, decision support coach, and founder and host of Childcare Conversations.

For more than 30 years, Kate has worked with early childhood leaders, business owners, and organizations to make better decisions about leadership, staffing, systems, growth, and sustainability. She is a former SBA Business Analyst, has helped prepare more than 4,500 early childhood directors, and is the co-author of 11 books.

Kate is known for helping leaders move beyond quick fixes, understand what is really driving their results, and build stronger businesses and organizations through better decisions.
