SPEAKER_00:

Welcome to Meditation Drip, your daily dose of mindfulness. This is Julie Scann, and we are on day 24 of our 30-day one-minute meditation challenge. Today in our mini meditation, we are going to spark creativity by tapping into a delightful memory. We will also be using box breathing to slow us down and get us in this moment. So start getting comfortable. You can do this practice at home or out in the world, or when you're having a creative block, as we sometimes do, and you want to feel that creativity once again flowing through you. Let's go in. Begin with box breathing to slow down and soothe your nervous system. Inhale to the count of four. Pause and hold for four. Exhale for four. And once again pause and hold for four. Keep going with this rhythm and begin to bring to mind a place that you love to be, a place that sparks your creativity. Maybe it's somewhere you have traveled to that opened your lens and inspired you to create. Maybe it's a cozy place somewhere that had a fireplace, the perfect scent in the air, a light rain outside, and you wrote. Perhaps it's somewhere in nature. The mountains or the ocean, a river, a lake, a waterfall, a place you photographed or a new idea was originated. Close your eyes if you can and put yourself there in the space that sparks, ignites your creativity. Where is this place? Describe it in detail. What you see, smell, taste, touch. What does it feel like when you are there? What about that place inspires you? You have enlivened your creativity. It lives within you. As you open your eyes and go about your day, carry this creativity spark within you. Tap into it at any time. Have a wonderful day and find more at healwildly.com.
