Michelle B. Griffin: Welcome back, everyone! I'm Michelle B. Griffin, your host for another standout women series episode. Today, we're excited to have Sarah Anto join us, a financial expert and growth strategist who has carved her niche in empowering first-time female founders in the tech industry. Sarah, welcome to the show!
Sarah Anto: Hi, Michelle! I'm thrilled to be here. Thank you for having me.
Michelle: Absolutely, Sarah! For those who haven’t met you yet, can you tell us a bit about yourself and your work?
Sarah: Sure! I’ve spent many years in the tech industry, which is quite male-dominated. Seeing the struggles faced by women, including myself, I made it my mission to help first-time female founders fund and launch their startups. My approach combines strategy, leadership, and finance to ensure these founders are confident and ready to launch.
Michelle: You’ve certainly mastered the art of introduction! When we first started working together, you were a bit unsure. Now, your confidence and clarity shine through. Let’s dive into how you're positioned now.
Sarah: Initially, I struggled with defining my personal branding. Through our sessions, I focused on my core values and realized how I wanted to present myself professionally, especially on platforms like LinkedIn, to empower other women.
Michelle: Your growth has been incredible, Sarah. From refining your LinkedIn profile to enhancing your online presence with a powerful website, your journey is truly inspiring. Tell us about that standout photo of you in San Francisco on your website.
Sarah: That photo was a lucky find among thousands. It captures me walking down the streets of San Francisco, reflecting my career journey there. It’s more than just a professional headshot; it represents my empowerment and belonging in the tech world.
Michelle: And it shows! It’s fantastic how you’ve embraced your new identity and used it to refine your professional image online. Now, let’s discuss your unique framework and playbook that you've developed for working with your clients.
Sarah: My framework, which I call the "Align" framework, is a strategic playbook that helps female founders assess their vision, develop leadership, and integrate effective strategies. It’s designed to navigate the specific challenges female founders face in the tech industry.
Michelle: It’s clear that you’ve crafted a specialized approach that sets you apart. Tell us about the results you’ve seen since enhancing your online presence.
Sarah: It’s been amazing! I’ve booked discovery calls, been interviewed for articles, and even invited to speak at tech conferences. My LinkedIn overhaul has opened up numerous opportunities to connect with both women and men who support our mission.
Michelle: That’s the power of a well-defined brand and a clear mission. Sarah, as we wrap up, what advice would you give to someone ready to take the leap and put themselves out there like you did?
Sarah: Don’t hesitate to seek help and collaboration. It’s okay not to do everything alone. Having a guide can make a huge difference in how you see yourself and how you project your brand to the world.
Michelle: Brilliant advice, Sarah. Thank you for joining us today and sharing your inspiring journey. For those looking to connect with Sarah, check out her LinkedIn profile and website for more insights into her work.
Sarah: Thank you, Michelle, for having me. It’s been a pleasure!
Michelle: Until next week, keep putting yourself out there. You have a brand to build, a message to share, and people to impact. Take care!
